I'm a huge fan of the book Undaunted Courage, about the Lewis and Clark expedition and Lewis's bio. To see the country the way they saw it must have been incredible and horrifying. Great pictures Leon, I hope you're having a great time!

Thanks Matt. Of course I did grow up here - birth to 19 yo. Been up in the Arch in St. Louis too where Lewis and Clark started their westward trek. I love the history and scenery too. Politics here, not so much.

We are winding up our vacation and just waiting for the truck to be repaired and release so I can depart for home. My wife’s flight is currently scheduled for departure Wednesday morning, unless there are further delays. No word as of this morning on status of the truck. I’ll call on it this afternoon. We’re holed up in a hotel as of Friday waiting. We did venture out yesterday up to Mount Hood and got some great pictures. The road into Timberline Lodge was jammed up from the turn and six miles to the lodge. We turned around and headed back. Still good scenery.

If I don’t get a video in before the Las Vegas convention I want to congratulate TSC on their first convention.

A vacation review, some comments for beginning straight shavers, tribute to TSC convention, truck still not repaired. The vacation was great. The break down is becoming tiresome. The straight shaves give momentary pause both from my boredom and others’ hysteria. Come get lost and transfixed in my shaving video. Enjoy.
