Coming to you live from Troutdale, Oregon. Day number 14 of exile for my broke down truck in mechanical-repairs-ville. The good news: I’m sporting a new visage which requires more razor time and I had the time to make a video about it. Enjoy.

Not sure if I said so previously, I think it took a week to two weeks to get my soap from MDC in France.

Part-two: head shave. I have lots of time today. Enjoy.

Great Shave & Talk

Comments:
• Glad your getaway was fun.
• A little surprised it took you this long to claim the additional shaving real estate. Nice.
• After Jarrod influenced Gary to the convex way, he and I were acquainted. I’d love to have been the catalyst, but not so.
• Convexing a fine ark is a career investment. 3x8 could be 40 hours of sweat equity. Nice, but not required.
• Per ancient grinders writings, the hone progression is more curvy/coarse thru less curvy/finer and final on flat/fine.
• In the future, I’ll have a hone kit to loan for interested Cadre members in good standing to play with. You certainly qualify.

The ever changing world of truck driving…. The back haul dropped dead. The Quala Wash here in Vancouver doesn’t do Formic Acid. It’s the only tank wash servicing Oregon and Washington. They’re trying to see if a load from San Diego to Houston is available. Washout at LA Wash Rack in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, I sit at Loves truck stop Troutdale OR awaking further orders. 🤣😂😢

The good news is: by the time I get home I’ll have three 200gram jars of Martin de Candre waiting for me. The Original, the Fougere, the Vetyver. Oh I’m so excited!

It feels so good to be in my tk and bed tonight. My truck is my rolling prison cell away from home. Everything I need or want is here. Anything not here I can stop and get. All my compartments are over stuffed with purchases my wife and I made while on vacation … Coach purses, plural, Pendleton Woolen Mills products. Amazing! But it’s so good to be heading in the general direction of home, back haul or no back haul.
