2020 Shave # 10 ( 430 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Gibbs
Blade: GSB (1)
Brush: Shavemac 2 Band Silvertip Ebonite
Soap: CBL Tonsorial Fresh Lime 3017 (10)
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Brut
Fragrance: Penhaligon's Bayolea

Shave 10 in the books. Not blooming daily as it appears hydrated now and don't see the need with a damp brush. Tub weighs ??????????? I have no idea since I didn't weigh it

Going strong with the Money BETA. I have been blooming every day so it is well hydrated at this point. It is giving me really good shaves, but it does feel drier on the skin than I am used to. Still really enjoying it.

Synthetic brushes work great for me with this soap. They make a dense lather with good cushion. Badgers tend to make a thinner, wetter lather. So, those are probably a little better when straight shaving with this soap. Today I used a boar (SOC) for the first time with CBL Tonsorial. It made a stellar lather, thick and really cushion-y. A well broken in boar might be the ideal brush to use with this soap. I need to haul out my Semogue 1305 and my Omega Pro 48 to see how those work with it.

I'm settling nicely into the solesoaping rhythm with CBL Tonsorial.
As mentioned at the outset, I'm doing 8 non-CBL shaves, so weekends are for finishing off Tallow + Steel Kyoto one day and the other to test some soaps my shave buddy brought by, since he'll be picking them up soon.

I had a bump early this week, I broke out my SynBad brush which I haven't used in a good while and I think it caused my to break out too. I never noticed this before, but when I went to splay the brush on my face, it felt prickly, and about a half hour after the shave I got a rash on my neck. I thought it might be the soap, but it's only happened this one time, with that brush. I think the prickliness triggered a reaction.

Feeling like CRAP but had an ASTOUNDING shave with the Gibbs today on setting 4. Video uploaded to my VLOG thread. It had noticeably more blade chatter but was still a smooth shave that upon feeling my face now is like glass, color me impressed and wanting one. Shave 11 with the Fresh Lime CBL Tonsorial and we are down to 93 grams and @NurseDave is "OUTA HERE" Sorry Brother ! Have a great day Cadre !!

With the key I assume that's a psycho, but I'm pretty sure the handle is a different shape than mine.

Get with the program @NurseDave!

More water made for a thinner, slicker lather today. However, there was much slopping of lather out of my lather bowl as I expected would happen.

Looking in the Old Spice mug that I am using for the soap it looks like I have barely dented the surface. This 3017 is going to take a while.
