Man ain't that the truth! I never was into a bunch of "product", no pre-shave, I've never owned alum, and went most of my life without aftershave. Just a good clean shave is what it's all about.Old school all the way! For me, the simplest setups yield the best shaves.

That's my thing, shaving with stuff that's older than me, the great shaves just come as a bonus!

Old school all the way. Never used a razor that old. Good to keep the old ones in service!

Only one hair today that I saw, but two or three isn't unusual. I have several new boar knots waiting if it get's bad.
Your gear takes me back to days when I would explore my grandfather's bathroom. It was full of vintage gear. Cool stuff, Toby.
