If you have to do something...

Good stuff, Chris.

Back to the Stirling Sharp Dressed Man....Everyone knows that I totally dig Stirling products, but I confess, not every one of them. SDM happens to be one of those few that I don't care for. To me, it smells nothing like the real deal Creed GIT. The closest thing to GIT that I've come across is the WSP Gaelic Tweed, and it's a very good representation.

...ahem, what about Dublin Tweed???? LOL

Hope you enjoyed the trip Chris. Also hope it was enlightening!

Thanks Chad!

Overall is was a great time with a group of solid men and important lessons. The one bummer was perhaps that my roommate was quite under the weather, if you catch my meaning, especially nights. Fortunately I did get a bit of sleep, some spectacular travel shaves, and spent most of the day enjoying the fresh Tahoe air.

Trap shooting Saturday afternoon was a metric ton of fun with the group of 11 that went. I haven’t been able to take my shotgun out to shoot for over a year. All said and done, in a few hours we went through about 3 full rounds of trap, a good 400ish rounds of shot, and a truckload of friendly ribbing.

My carpool buddies were good too, a couple wise, older men from the group who have seen and done quite a lot, and had many good stories to share.

Getting back into the groove today!

Open Blade Shave #194 (two were had over the weekend trip):

Gear: Feather AC SS, Feather Pro blade (8), RR Game Changer .68, Voskhod blade (3), RR Big Bruce synth, CC Venture shave soap, Alum block, generic witch hazel, and CC Venture AS to finish!

Major Murphy visit today, worst to date in fact...on my special birthday shave of all things. Good thing I was recording? Lol!

Ahh the fall tour of our friend Mr. Murphy, now we know that fall is here, LOL Nice vid Chris and sorry about the visit

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Bummer about the Murphy visit; but Happy Birthday in spite of that!

...ahem, what about Dublin Tweed???? LOL

Watched the video, but I’m a bit late. Happy Belated Birthday! Hope you had a great day, sans the the Murphy visit.

Happy Birthday! Sorry to see that Murphy came to visit to say HBD as well.

I tried clay shooting for the first time last year. Didn't have high hopes to hit some but ended up being a good time. Would love to try it again.
