“The TSC’s Napping Beefcake”
Shave #190 (550 Open Blade Shaves) of 2022:
Gear: Gillette Prewar Tech, Astra SP blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, CBL Hombres soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix w/ dash of Royall Vetiver, and ADP Colonia to finish!
Non-routine Saturday in progress…somewhat. Decided to stay home with the fur children so we didn’t all have to cram in the car for 6 hours. Between last night and this morning/afternoon, after the fam hit the road, got my chores done and am now livin the bach’ life for a day and a half.
Great shave to clean myself up (not too much though! Us bachelors have to keep up appearances!). Nice clean, fresh scents. Mixed up the Clown Puke with the rest of the ROS I had left. Brought out my little tub of Hombres…mmm mmmM! Good stuff! Finished off with ADP Colonia!
Rest of the day is a fairly clean slate. Watching some shows and will scrounge for dinner later. I do have to keep working on my sermon for new weekend at some point though…

Great shave this morning. Not much to report. Starting off the week with some bold scents - OS AS to finish the post shave care and Ombré Leather to put the proverbial cherry on top!
The missus arrived safely back home and our 2 weeks sans children begins! We’re both still working but we’ve gotta try and think of some fun stuff to do. We’ll see!

Your prayers/positive vibes appreciated for my dad. He’s been having some serious health issues on and off for the last 6 months. Yesterday, after lots of testing and trying to figure things out, he got hit with an initial suggestion it could be interstitial lung disease, a treatable but curable condition that would put a certain time clock on his remaining days.
He’s been referred to a specialist for more testing and a second opinion. Hoping/praying it is not something quite so drastic.
