Gear: RR GC .68 SB, Bic Chrome Platinum blade, RR Big Bruce brush, CBL Sir Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Pitralon Classic AS, and woody EOs to finish!

It was a good weekend…but a weekend that was a week too short 😂

Not a whole lot going on that I know of today. Let’s see what the work day can drum up!

One weird thing about working from home is I often lose track of what day it is. This Saturday I thought it was Sunday, and today I thought it was Tuesday.

Chris, you need to update your signature, sir (unless you are on the lam and want to keep a step ahead of the law).

Shave #237 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: RR GC .68 SB, Bic Chrome Platinum blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, CBL Steel Grey Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Skin Bracer AS, and CK Defy to finish!

Sleep hasn’t been as good as it was when we first moved…but still better than before the move. Not sure what all the contributing factors might be. I’ll take it though!

Good shave…a neutral shave except for Skin Bracer, but a good one. The main curiosity was CK Defy. Time for me to experience train wreck number 1 for myself, lol! Really weird grouping of scents, not bad but weird. Opens sweet and moderately bright with the bergamot and lavender. Very quickly (perhaps in a couple minutes) moves to a smoky musk/amber. If there was vetiver in the middle of that, I wasn’t getting much at all. As I speak now, it’s continuing to shift to a more muddled scent. Meh. Glad it’s just a sample.

The PR Phantom train wreck will be tomorrow.
