Shave #232 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Twin blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, Moon Soaps Amaretto soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, LNHC Barber Shoppe post shave elixir, and Ferragamo Uomo to finish!

Finishing the work week with a sweet, smokey gourmand combo. A nice little pick me up on a Friday. Schick M will be swapped out tomorrow per usual for something new.

Some new patients to call and try to help care for today. Seems to be a sad trend that only about half of the patient load so far want to even so much as have a visit from a perceived religious entity. My visits don’t have to be religious or spiritual in nature but info I think there’s a lot of assumptions to the title “chaplain” or “spiritual counselor”. Really I just am there to help serve them however they need…even if it’s just someone to visit and talk weather to. I think more people could use it than they realize. I continue to work on my means of “selling” the service, if you will.

Gear: RR GC .68 SB, Bic Chrome Platinum blade, Paladin Harlequin Chief 26mm brush, Zingari Man The Soloist soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, WSP Mahogany AS, and TF Oud Wood to finish!

Finally took care of my overdue shave for the day with some products that were long overdue for use! Excellence all around!

The kids’ new bed furniture finally got delivered and installed this morning. That was the main holdup besides getting some chores going. We had ordered the furniture months ago but with COVID stuff, West-Elm was so backed up with orders and deliveries, they couldn’t deliver as soon as we wanted. So the kids are no longer on mattresses on the floor now (not that they minded - they thought it was great lol) and they’ve gotten some extra floor space now.

More chores to do then we outtie for some beach time and chillin!

You could have saved yourself some money and surrounded the mattresses with chairs and blankets - kids would have loved that for months!

Hah! It would have been novel for a while, then just become a magnet as a place to hide their junk (you should have seen the stuff under their beds when we moved out of the house) 😂

Gear: RR GC .68 SB, Bic Chrome Platinum blade, Graydog Art Deco brush, CBL Cherry Blossom & Bamboo soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Lucky Tiger AS, and TF Noir Extreme to finish!

Nice chill day yesterday indeed. Spent a couple hours at the beach just sittin and enjoying while the kids went back and forth exploring. It was decently crowded but thankfully not claustrophobically so, we were able to keep a comfortable distance from others.

Another great shave this morning, getting ready for church in the park. CBL Cherry Blossom & Bamboo is another superb scent from Chris, glad I got a jam packed tub before it went the way of the dodo.
