If you have to do something...

The contingency question was about selling your house, not your scent choice :ROFLMAO:
Oh lol. We’ll see what the realtor thinks and what the offers look like this evening, and the missus used to work in title and escrow for a time, so I’m trusting their judgment.

Shave #161 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and CK Eternity to finish!

Decent nights rest; great shave this morning!

Had a number of offers to review with our realtor yesterday evening. Picked one out that had the marks of a really solid offer and pretty darn good terms. Wasn’t the highest but we did send a counter to see if they can play ball just a bit more. Waiting to hear back on it.

Looking forward to checking out Santa Barbara this weekend!

Not sure about Cali, but in Texas it’s a sellers market. There is some stupid pricing going on here.

I looked at some acerage and the appraisal office had it valued at 160k. The seller is asking 239k. Land and home prices are through the roof right now.

It’s a seller’s market all around for the most part, I believe.

We did keep our asking close to current market value. Only one offer came in at asking, the rest were all a bit over, some more than others.

Exciting day today. We (via our realtor) gather in any remaining offers for the house through this afternoon and then, after I’m off work, we’re going to review them and very likely accept/counteroffer one. One step closer to SB!
That's a good position in which to be!

Good luck on the counter! I'm sure it'll be stressful and helpful having that part of the move handled and pushing you forward!

Shave #162 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and Pierre Cardin clone oil to finish!

Decent rest, good shave, still haven’t hit the bottom of this soap yet surprisingly! I’ve lost count of how many shaves this tub has given me…but for $10 or whatever it was I bought it for…HUGE value, if you can stand to have a soap around for that long lol. The splash is hovering around 50% left too…which is great….love the splash!

We accepted an offer on the house yesterday afternoon and are now in escrow. Excellent price and excellent terms. We are still on target for our preferred move window. We are very pleased!

Last work shift for the week for me. Last Bible study for the senior’s group later this morning. I doubt I’ll get to do much in the way of things like the study when the new job starts. I’m going to miss it for sure.

Have a great Thursday all!

Congrats on the sale, Chris!!

Got up at 5:30 this morning, didn’t have time to post in the rush to get out the door.

Taking a second while we stop in Pismo to post this up. Almost to our destination 👍

Hope you all are having a great start to the weekend!
