Shave #156 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Colonial Armored General, Feather Pro blade, Graydog Art Deco brush, CBL Grassroots Lavender soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, 4711 AS, and 4711 EDT to finish!

Up a bit early for a day off...but dad duties 🤷‍♂️

Nice morning out with the missus after getting the kids to school. Then a haircut. Then back to pick the kids up. Then back home to get everything the stylist missed, clean up, and shave.

Chores going now. Going to the eldest’s JV volleyball game later. Then touching the house back up for the showings that start tomorrow.

Great shave!

Unexpectedly tiring night last night. Needless to say, I did not get my sleep in day. Up a bit early to re-clean a little bit and get everyone out of the house for the realtor to set up for the open house.

Decided to drive a bit and spend the larger chunk of the day at the in-law’s to pass the time.

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and Penhaligon’s Sartorial clone oil to finish!

Better night’s rest, even if we did get home later than expected.

Great clean up n shave this morning...back to the faux 3017 though. Le sigh.

First open house went, for not having had one done before, stellar IMO. We got a couple offers right away, over asking! We decided to honor our word though of having another open house today and tomorrow and reviewing offers Tuesday. A great start though I’d say 👍

Good shave this morning. Schick Twin may be on the fritz a bit. I keep meaning to do a full clean of this M Adjustable, it’s got some noticeable scum where the top it the guard bar tucks up behind the blade. We’ll see if it lasts till the end of the work week.

Last (hopefully) showing of the house today. Hoping for some more good results!

Decent night’s rest. Great shave this morning! The EOs I used were some tree stuff like cedar and fir. I besically smell somewhat like a Christmas tree right now 😂

Exciting day today. We (via our realtor) gather in any remaining offers for the house through this afternoon and then, after I’m off work, we’re going to review them and very likely accept/counteroffer one. One step closer to SB!
