If you have to do something...

Pretty much whatever hunting lol. Tight buying and renting market up here.
Might have to lower your expectations. ;)

Shave #164 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Gillette Prewar Tech, Feather blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, CBL Balsamic Oud soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Skin Bracer AS, and TF Oud Wood to finish!

Great sleep after a great evening out.

Honestly having a great time getting to know the place and looking around. It’s like a larger Carmel, CA (our favorite sea-side city) with a southern CA flair or maybe Santa Cruz’s southern CA equivalent. Hard to believe we’re going to be calling this our home.

Have a great Saturday all!

Shave #165 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Gillette Prewar Tech, Feather blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, CBL Balsamic Oud soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Skin Bracer AS, and ADG Santal Absolu to finish!

Service in the area this morning. Now some lunch in Goleta before we head back north and into the valley to get the kids…then home.

Have a blessed Sunday all!

Shave #166 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Gillette Prewar Tech, Feather blade, Yaqi Rainbow synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and Bvlgari Man Glacial Essence to finish!

Got in fairly late, so went to bed as soon as we got everything settled back home. Decent sleep, though I could have used a couple more hours.

Back to the grind today. Back to the faux 3017 as well. Questionable as to if this will be gone by moving day…likely not at the rate this one is disappearing!

Gonna be a super hot week. 4 days 100 or over, the hottest being Thursday at a predicted 109. Ugh.

Have a great Monday all!

Shave #167 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: RR GC .68 OC, Gillette Platinum blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and D&G Light Blue to finish!

Tried to get to bed a little early again last night. Still a little tired. Between the heat, work, and that long drive, body’s having a time repairing.

Bit of a break from the safe-mild razors this morning. Yesterday, along with my vintage Rive Gauche, my RR GC .68 OC plate was delivered from a swap (gave my .84 OC plate because it was too much blade feel for me). Swap was nice because I got to hang onto the Super Knurl handle which I like a lot. This plate is much more in line with what I had been hoping for from the .84 OC! A tad more blade feel (on the WTG mostly, surprisingly) than the .68 SB but a tad more efficiency too. The ATG was pretty smooth as well. First use gave the NEW LC a run for its money I think!

Home appraisal from the buyer’s end today. Hoping it goes well. I’m pretty tired of trying to keep things from looking too lived in though 😂

Have a great Tuesday all!

That reminds me, I have a .68 OC plate for my Game Changer that have yet to try. I need to take care of that.
