If you have to do something...

Shave #168 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: RR GC .68 OC, Gillette Platinum blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and Enigma to finish!

Already at work. First order of the day was cleaning up some bum puke…yay me!

Starting today and for the next three, the 100+ degree days hit. Filled my half-gallon to the tippy top today for sure!

Be safe out there! 🤙

Could you tell which one of these it was you cleaned up?

Hah! None of the above…though those might have been better. I believe I remember seeing an open case of Mike’s Hard Lemonade in the garbage…and they very clearly ate something with cranberries in it 😂
When we sold our home, we spent a couple of weeks decluttering things to get it ready to show. Our agent came over, looked around and said, "That's a good start." 😄
Seriously! Thankfully no ones opened the closets yet…

Shave #169 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: RR GC .68 OC, Gillette Platinum blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and Avon Pleasures for Him to finish!

Nice, cool morning before the 109 temps hit later today.

May have finally found a place to rent in SB! All the paperwork has been approved, we just have to make a virtual tour of the unit before we can sign the lease. It’ll be a huge piece of the puzzle finished and a huge relief frankly. Last hurtle now will be seeing what the inspection reports come up with (hopefully nothing!) - which we’ll probably hear back from tomorrow or Monday.

Have a great Thursday all!

109°?!?!?!

Also congrats on finding the rental place! Now go put on some more antiperspirant!

Ahh, the inspection report. I know here in Illinois they tried to address how out of control buyers were getting with demands coming out of the inspection while still under contract by limiting what can be asked for and, if denied, grounds for backing out of the contract. Pretty much had to be deemed a "safety" issue which is still vague but does seem to have reduced some of the crazier asks. Hopefully they have something similar out there in California.

Best of luck getting through that with your buyers as well as the rental piece, almost there!

Yea…it’s been smooth sailing so far (*knock on wood*)…hopefully if something comes back it’s not too crazy. I’ve got a friend on standby who can help do some minor repairs if needed, otherwise there’s some play in our proposed sale price where we could give some credit back.
Man! Things be moving fast! How long do you have to reinvest what you make from selling the house?
Indeed! I can’t believe we’ll be there and settling in (hopefully) in a few weeks! For us and what we made, we fall under the minimum for those penalties so fortunately there’s no time limit. It’s all profit at this point, so we’re going to try and wait out the market some.
