Catching up. Congrats on the job and the upcoming move. I've been to SB a couple times and it's pretty nice. You said you got a job as a Chaplain, which I know is somwhting you've wanted, but if you said where you are going to work I missed it. You mentioned Campus, is it at a College/University?

The job is going to be as a full time Chaplain at a hospice care facility. This organization (VNA) has a small chain of facilities in SoCal, all independent from any hospital associations as far as I know.
The campus I’m talking about now is the job I’m going to be leaving, as lead custodian of my church’s facilities.

When we were showing our first house, I was totally stressed. It sold in three days. Pretty soon your worries should be over.

Yes, there will be many challenges but I look forward to them! I think this will be very beneficial in many ways, in the long run. One of the reasons I went with it was the seeming camaraderie and supporting team aspect of the group I’ll be working with.
That means so much. One of the hardest jobs I ever had was also one of the most enjoyable because of the crew I worked with. We all got along well and looked after one another. Trust your gut, Chris.

Woke up this morning with a bad leg cramp...gave a mid-sleep stretch and the muscle was like “nope”. Thankfully my alarm was only minutes away anyway.
Still 3017ing...still haven’t hit bottom...still a long ways to go.
Work and Bible study today. Not sure what else.

When we sold our condo downtown and moved to the suburbs, my MIL helped stage the condo for pictures and tours. It's amazing how much better it looked without the clutter and with all the nice furnishings! Believe I even said "are we sure we want to move now!?"
