If you have to do something...

Moving ... yes I still have my pickup. But I’ll be out of town that weekend.
Hah! That’s the answer I’d expect from even some of our good friends if we asked. Except for some help with the house though, we’re trying to only ask some of my sisters/brothers-in-law. It’s be pretty tough for anyone to help with a one-way 6 hour drive, unload, then have to get home.

We’re definitely going to try finding a decent moving company for that headache.

My wife is brutal on moves. We load the rental truck and move on Friday. Kitchen and master bathroom setup before we sleep on Friday. Everything else unboxed and put up before the weekend is over. Then I go back to work on Monday to get rest.

“Unconfirmed” that we may or may not still have a couple unpacked (or at least partially unpacked then repacked) boxes from our last move over 4 years ago...🤫

I'm a little late but congrats on landing the new job.

Hope all goes well with the move you have planned.

Look forward to hearing how this new chapter in your life go's. 👍

Shave #142 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Gillette Prewar Tech, Bic Chrome Platinum blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and Avon Prime to finish!

Already in at work, so have to be brief.

Good wake up, if a bit groggy.

Good shave with reliably good products.

The impending move date is already setting in some stress. We’ve contacted our realtor and we’re going to shoot for an open house in 2 weeks. We’ve got a lot of life laying around the house to clean up before then!

Have a great Friday all!

Don't envy your house listing scramble Chris but you'll get there quickly! Happy Friday!
Thanks Ryan!
It'll be money well spent.
I agree!
The new challenges/opportunities will be worth the headache. Happy Friday!
Thanks Tim!
Congrats on your chaplaincy, Chris! Godspeed, brother. Esau's for breakfast. You're welcome. ;)

That looks great! I’ll definitely have to check that out 😍

Shave #143 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Colonial Armored General, Feather Pro blade, Graydog Art Deco brush, Clown Puke tub soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Chiseled Face Sherlock AS, and Encre Noire to finish!

Great, alarm-free wake up. Lots of little things to take care of today, some writing for the Thursday morning Bible study not the least among them. Took a lazy morning anyway and even went out for the usual coffee and walk with the missus.

Great noontime shave with the Armored General (sorry to those who backed Bickel with their votes! 😂). It’s been a while since I’ve used a Feather Pro in any of my AC razors...once the current stock runs out, I don’t think I’ll be buying anymore. Schick Prolines are markedly superior in feel/smoothness. It’s takes the Feather Pros a few shaves to get to that stage and both blades seem to be similar in number of viable shaves.

My start date(ish) was finally set. The bosses want me on campus to do my training and orientations, so early to mid July is the target, depending on the sale of the house. So only another month, give or take, of custodial work. Kinda stinks to have to wait (though I totally understand why), because I’m at the “done with it” stage now for current responsibilities, lol.

Hope you’re all having a great Saturday too!

Armored General, while not my choice, is still a great name!

I got a pack of Feather AC Pros in addition to an AC sampler pack but haven't tried any of the other blades yet. Figure I should work my way through them first before deciding if there's a better blade out there [emoji23]

Definitely!

Shave #144 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Colonial Armored General, Feather Pro blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony brush, CBL Grassroots Lavender soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Fine American Blend AS, and Fine American Blend EDT to finish!

Was in a rush this morning to get out the door for service but I did get my shave in!

Top notch gear and software all around. Fine AB remains my favorite scent profile. It’s pretty much perfect for any occasion!

Small trip later in the day to celebrate a friend’s ordination...with the added benefit of snagging some of their boxes, since they just finished moving 😂

Hope you all have a blessed Sunday!

It’s Monday! Let’s get after it 🤙
