If you have to do something...

Wow! @MilkCrate will be humbly honored I suspect. šŸ‘
Iā€™m sure the Epistle of Milkcrate would have plenty of sage wisdom to dig into! šŸ˜‰
Great to hear the interview went so well Chris! Sounds like things are all pointing in the right direction!
Thanks Ryan!
Admit it - you used the bathroom too!
Well, when youā€™ve got to get up and get blasted with a cool morning breeze...the body does tend to wake up also šŸ˜‚
Maybe even outside.
I didnā€™t go that far! I live on a corner property so lots of fence and no telling whoā€™s trying to peep šŸ˜œ

Ahh Friday! Seems to be a bit of a bad day for allergies. I woke up and my brains started leaking. Hopefully my dailies kick in soon.

Good shave to get me off out the door, on the right foot this morning.

Mentoree meeting at a boba shop after work. Hoping to get home with enough daylight left to knock out the yard work so I can just chill tomorrow. Only one day off this week.

Have a great Friday all!

I have allergies every single day and they suck.

Off to google boba ... Have a great day!
Yea...I feel like mine have gotten worse the last few years. A regular Claritin or Zyrtec used to do me just fine...but now Iā€™ve had to throw some nasal sprays into the mix.
Found it. I like my tapioca in a bowl, with a spoon.
Thatā€™s good too! Or a good rice pudding...mmmm.
Boba shop?
Bah! He only dropped that term because he expects people to ask about it.

Hey Chris....whatā€™s a boba shop?
Yea, itā€™s like a sweet milk tea treat with big ol semi/gelatinous tapioca pearls thrown in. My favorite is Thai Milk Tea with boba.
Definition - something our kids ask for every day.
For good reason! Itā€™s liquid diabetes...but so worth it! šŸ˜‚

Pretty darn good nightā€™s rest with a no-alarm wake up.

After a sufficient time lazing about, it was out to do the yard work that I didnā€™t get the chance to do yesterday as Iā€™d hoped. The weather this morning was perfect for it though. The overnight light cloud cover was still burning off and there was a cool breeze to spur me along. It only finally started warming up a bit toward the end, as I was finishing up. Still, weā€™ve reclaimed a bit of our list Spring weather the next few days as the forecast changes to back down in the high 70s/low 80s.

After iced coffee and a lemon loaf slice, it was in for a full cleanup (including hair trim) and shave. Have to trim up the sides and back a lot more now because my latest hair style really looks bad if I donā€™t keep it ultra short (grew long enough hair over the last half year or more for a short ponytail). Shave was pretty good...time to swap out this Proline though. Three nicks on the chin. Thankfully they sealed up tight with an alum block application. CBL Barba ASM made all errors right and my skin feels great!

Some laundry and lawn watering still to get through. I donā€™t have to teach this Thursday (amazing!) since my co-teacher finally had a free week. Iā€™ll do a rough outline though anyway of the covered text for my own purposes...still, itā€™s less work.

A busy but nice Saturday so far! Hope yours is too!

I enjoy the Thai Tea myself. I donā€™t bother with going to a ā€œboba shopā€ though, I buy direct from the restaurant supply. It costs a little bit up front but it saves a ton over buying from a retail establishment. I will tell you that $7 worth of raw boba turns into enough to feed an army for a year. when cooked. I also get the bursting boba and other flavors of milk tea for the wife and kids.

I love those no alarm wake-ups. They don't come along often, but when they do it's usually magic.
Amen to that!

Nice! If we had more kitchen real estate thatā€™s definitely something Iā€™d look into!

Of course, youā€™d have to have your own cup sealer and fat straws too...gotta make it official! šŸ˜‚

Gear: Gillette Prewar Tech, Bic Chrome Platinum blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and vintage Ralf Lauren Chaps to finish!

Back to the grind!

Switched back to Proraso this morning. Still havenā€™t hit bottom yet...but Iā€™ve gotta be getting pretty close to breaking through! Great shave.

Missus leaves for a couple nights today. Off to Oregon for to take some test and challenge some general ed requirements...because CA has no testing centers open for whatever reason.

Refrigerator is on the fritz. Need to get someone out to look at it.

Have a blessed Sunday all!

Ah the relentless ticking of the clock. Not the best nightā€™s rest, but Iā€™ll take it.

Good shave this morning.

Missus is safely at her destination. Temporary single parenting successfully began at 5pm yesterday. Refrig ended up pooping out completely. Have saved the essentials I think. Now the wait for a service person to call me back...

Hope yā€™allā€™s week is started off a heck of a lot better!

Mondays....

Ugh, that blows. I guess at least with just men in the house you can live off of pizza, ramen and mac n cheese for a while!
