Shave #31 (400 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Schick L injector, Schick blade, RR Big Bruce synth brush, SS Citrus & Bay soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, Bootlegger’s Bay Rum AS, and MK Cityscape to finish!

Nice shave this morning. Really waffled on using the bay rum setup today. It’s a nice scent, but I just haven’t been feeling it like I used to, so it’s gone unused for a month or more. Ended up going with it anyway, altering the profile a bit withsome sprays of MK Cityscape for a softer edge.

Qued up my coffee and toast for the morning. Finished preparing it just in time to receive the call that my youngest forgot a piece of homework at home, so ran that out. Thankfully the school is a convenient 15 minutes away...we’ve been having issues with him lately in the homework department and in being lazy. Super smart kid and rather advanced for his age, guessing he’s just not feeling challenged enough.

Weekend looks to be bearable for the work schedule. Besides basketball, only a few extra things going on. Thank goodness!

They’ve put off thinking about my end of the month trip till now and how things are going to pan out with everyone’s schedules, so with a few weeks left now, it there’s only slight panic.

Have a great Friday folks!

Be sure to see the Arizona memorial while there. No trip to Hawaii is complete without it.
We’re hoping to do a few things like visiting Pearl Harbor, seeing the Dole plantations, visiting the palace and cultural center, and of course going to a genuine luau.

I was the same way in school. I was definitely bored and not remotely challenged. Got to college and bombarded myself with physics classes and that was too much. Try to find that line between challenging and overwhelming for him.

I figured you likely already did that. Yes, Pearl Harbor was much cooler than I thought it would be. Thought isn't the Arizona exhibit still out of commission?

Shave #32 (400 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Gillette Pre-war Tech, Feather blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ brown synth brush, CBL Balsamic Oud soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, Skin Bracer AS, and Czech & Speake Frankincense & Myrrh to finish!

Only 11 more months until 2021...and I still can’t believe it’s 2020!

One blade February begins! The stubble got melted off today and I barely felt a thing until the ATG. Probably did a little more bidding than I should have, for extra closeness, but all is well.

Just basketball, a small memorial, and setting up for services tomorrow. I’m ready to close this work week out!

Nice sleep-in morning with the family. Probably going to go out for coffee and a visit to a park with them before heading off to work. I’ll also be teaching the seniors bible study the next couple weeks, since the pastor I help is off to visit Israel for that time. I get to teach on Habakkuk 1 and 2...should be interesting! If nothing else, it’ll be good for me to dive into the book a little since I’ve not really studied it before.

Happy Saturday all! Take a puff and a sip for me!
