I feel like your brush selection has opened up recently. Any particular reason besides reasons?

Only added a couple synthetics in the last couple months.

Nectar mattress was delivered a day early, yesterday, and we had our first nights sleep in it last night. So far so good!

Shower n shave this morning to start the new work week off right. Hoping it’s not so much of a doozy as the last two...

Getting in a few random shaves with favorite razors before settling in for the long haul with the Feather/Tech combo come February 1st.

Picking up the kids early from school today for a doctor’s appt, though they do have to go back, presuming they aren’t waiting 39473727 hours to be seen.

Had school bus duties this morning, so was up early.

Second night on the Nectar. It weird, I feel a bit more rested, but I also was foggily-cognizant of waking up a number of times during the night. I mean, I’m sure that happened before, with our old cheapie spring mattress, but I had less recollection of it. Not sure what that means yet.

Very nice shave after dropping the kids off. I’m sure Lisa @LNHC does but I wonder if RR uses some real oud in the splash or if there’s some kind of synthetic equivalent. Either way, both the Coconut Oud and Stallion smell glorious.

Off to coffee date morning with the missus!

I wonder if RR uses some real oud in the splash or if there’s some kind of synthetic equivalent. Either way, both the Coconut Oud and Stallion smell glorious.

I love the smell of Stallion(made for Anthony Esposito iirc), though I highly doubt they use real oud in it. It smells way too tame to be the real thing lol.

It's funny I remember as a kid I would hope and pray the doctors took so long I did not have to go back to school, but that usually never happened. And that is awesome about y'alls mattress working out for you. My wife and I spent months researching mattresses because that is one purchase I don't mind overpaying for a great product!

Unfortunately these days, with the amount of patients doctors have to field in CA, wait times are often through the roof, even for simple check ins.

Jury’s out on the mattress for a while, at least for me. We’ve got a whole year to test. The missus has said she likes it already.

Took a page out of @dangerousdon ‘s book today and went with some of that sweet, sweet Fine AB juice!

Great shave with the ‘Jectah this morning. I’ve decided that ultimately, I get a good shave from the Twin blade, but it’s no better or worse than a regular Schick blade. The hype over this unobtainium is not real for me.

Not a whole lot to report otherwise. Minds are mostly looking forward to the end of February trip to Oahu and trying not to blow our budget until then. Even if something did come up between now and then, it’ll just be fun to go with the family and be for a week. Just be.

Weekly grounds work meeting is today, so I get to see how the weekend is shaping up for events on campus. Shouldn’t be as hectic as the last two weekends I’m thinking/hoping.
