Tonight's shave. Another of my "Solingen sweeties"
This is the smaller of my two Otto Busch Worldmaster's. 6/8th's. The A&E Grecian Horse has three more uses until it's demise. Which is good because another soap from a new to me maker, is inbound. The Omega 10098 boar brush is nice and broke in, and almost as soft as my two badgers.
The higher loft may also help with this perception. And my heavy rotation of the Proraso Red aftershave. Is in it's home stretch. I love the Proraso Green. The reds scent is just meh for me. So when it's done. It shall not be replaced. Like a lot of my software. Few items have been duplicate purchases.

On a totally non shave side note. Made a deluxe skippy trip down to Baltimore to pick up some new hardware for in the kitchen. Got the shitzu of the crappy small and medium fry pans i use a bunch for cooking. And decided to upgrade to some commercial grade items. The Restaurant Store - Restaurant Supplies & Equipment Got two very nice aluminum clad SS fry pans and lid for the 11" pan. Nice heavy duty utensils. And a dozen 16 oz. beer mugs. As well as SS measuring spoons and new apron. I saved a ton. And the stuff is so much nicer than what you find at your average retail stores. Extra bonus for the young lady that helped me get some of the items. Her ability to climb a ladder in such tight fitting clothing brightened the atmosphere of that warehouse. Good thing the wife didn't tag along.

Ok folks new soap tonight. Noble Otter's Rawr. This brand has a good following. And I have tried samples in the past. So I know the performance is there. So when I read the scents included in this one. I decided to give her a go. It is a bright and enjoyable scent. Good scent strength as well. Slickness is good. Post shave is good. Glad that I added it to the den. The razor for tonight was my first one that had "etching". Harris Goar Mfg. Kansas City. The 4711 pairs well with the Rawr. Both are on the sweet side of the equation.
Ready for the weekend.

Tonight's shave. Swings back around to the Towa Real Japanese Hollow Ground. The last shave with this razor was a little tuggy. So it went onto the touch up shelf.
Took a gander up there this morning and observed the four razors. They don't like being separated from all of their acceptably sharp friends. So to the stones they went.
This razor can now rejoin it's buddies in the rotation. The Sudsy Soapery Cola is a great soap. AP Shave Co. Cashmere brush and Proraso Red AS.
Hope everyone had a good Saturday. And is ready for Sunday.

Well gentlemen tonight’s shave had to be early as in 1430 in the afternoon. Because mother nature decided to play around a little bit and put some white stuff in the forecast. So yours truly is going to be bouncing around in a dump truck for the next 18 hours plus. Don’t feel bad for ‘ol Fluffy. It’s all time and a half. Got my eye on a brush or two. That would be nice additions to the shave den. Not much of a going concern at present.
DR34 is in good shape. Have a good Tuesday am.
I’ll be channeling my inner vampire. No sleep tonight.
Fluffy.

Be safe! You have to take a jug of coffee along or are you pretty good at keeping your eyes open?

Did you guys get any snow down in MD? We only got rain up here in Philly/South Jersey.
Not really Steve. The weather folks got punked by Mother Nature this time. Just a light dusting instead of the most common 1-3 inches they forecast.
I monitor 4 different outlets for weather and then use my knowledge guided by experience to plan my strategery for battling the storm. Whatever happens me and Daddy's Girl always meet that nasty Ho' Mom Nature head on.
