Thanks. Yea I have a couple nice razors hailing from the Land of the Rising Sun. All of them are very good. Love em.
I have seen some very pretty ones. That were waaay up there in the asking price.
Oh well. Watching them keep getting reposted. Over and over. Lot's of watchers and no bidders.
Gonna wait em out like the Viet Cong.

Today was a just a normal day.
Had some cleaning and organizing to do. And then the most wonderful thing happened.
A minor inquiry resulted in a very generous offer.
Once again belonging to this forum. Has brought about a unexpected turn of events.
Now I shall be awaiting the postman. And looking forward another batch of samples.
Beware this site is full of enablers and good people. Just waiting to brighten your day.
Guess that's why there is no Emo members.

Monday Presidents Day Journal Entry #1

Well Cadre I can put it off no longer. It is with a heavy heart I announce..... I have to sit down and do my TAXES.

No other task I perform annually gives me as much angst. To sit down and tally up exactly how much of my hard earned money has been confiscated. From my wife and I .
Is a tough thing to do. Not going to go on a long rant. We all have to do it. But damn it. It is no fun being a grown up.

The one thing I ask all of you is. Come November. That you all use the memory of this time of year. And how much you had taken from you. And get out and VOTE.

I tried to do mine on Friday.........well I sorta tried. Downloaded all the forms I need and printed them. I also finished organizing receipts but never started the actual doing. At least I'm 1 step closer to being able to when I have time again.

We send ours off to people to be done. With all the deductions, credits, and random things my wife’s side work brings to the table there’s no way we could do a decent job ourselves.

@GearNoir It's sad that it is that complicated. Feel your pain. Few years ago my taxes were complicated enough to require a CPA.
Now they are much less complicated. So HR Block online works well enough.
You find out how we can deduct shave soap and razors on our taxes. And I'll hire you to do them in a heartbeat.

I do my own taxes. Aren't shave items a business deduction? I need to be clean shaven for my customers........ I thought that's what those blank lines at the end of the Schedule C were for....

@Dave in KY
Maybe we should set up on K Street. Lobby for a Schedule S (for shave). 100% deduction for all mens grooming items.
Imagine having to document our shave den items, for an audit.

I’d imagine if mileage, food, and lodging can be deducted as business expenses...why couldn’t hygiene? Can’t seal the deal when you are an unshaven, reeking mess!

If you are required to shave for work can they be written off then?

We heard rumor they are capping the deduction for mortgage interest this year. Is that’s true, we are ska-rewed. In a big way. That’s about the only write-off we get.

No one will do anything before November. Between 11/3 and 12/31 everything is up for grabs, I assume (depending on what the results are).
