Tonight’s shave is of course inspired by Mr. Charles Bronson. I share my birthday with him. Nov. 3.
And occasionally use the same aftershave as he. Both of us handy with firearms. We both have been married 3 times. Both served our country.
In his day he was considered “Handsome-Ugly”
In present day I am considered “Ugly-Ugly” From there the similarities come to a tragic end.

Picked a excellent Japanese razor. To go with the Mandom. No Japanese shave soap or brushes yet in my den.
Every time I use the Gold Rex I think of Gollum cause the shine of the blade bids me to call it “my precious “.
My first ever NOS purchase. You never forget your first.

The view from my office window this morning. The rolling hills of northern Harford County MD. 300 meters South of the Pennsylvania State line.
Hard to believe that we are only a 35-40 min drive from the heart of Baltimore City. A different world.
Got loaned out to my old crew here at the county. Today we are “pulling shoulders”. Essentially cleaning out and redefining the ditches. Using a motor grader , Athey dirt loader and yours truely in my big rig.
I will try to snap some pics.
