Day went ok. Snowflake woman called in to complain. “The person directing traffic did not maintain 6ft. distance from me”.
When I was asked about it. My question was “if she was concerned about my proximity to her person. Why did she not mention it to me?” Then I said tell Karen to take a chill pill.
Shave was just ok. The Improved Eagle Razor from Germania Cutlery Works. Has a dip at the toe from the former user. And my patience while I was honing was most likely not at the level necessary for a edge to my liking. 1508.5 chugs along like the African Queen.
Hope Hump Day was better for the rest of you.

On our recent drive down to Bryce Canyon we got stuck on a two lane road where a pilot car was routing cars because one half was being re-paved. I happened to be at the front. Asked the gal holding the sign how long. She said half hour. See instead of getting upset I went back into the motorhome made a sandwich. Then saw her still standing out in the heat. Tossed her a water bottle and a bag of chips. That 30 min went b y quickly.

Day went ok. I was not in charge of traffic. But Karen came through the work zone. This time “filming “ on her phone. And trying to provoke the guys flagging. We have moved into her head and set up housekeeping. Also one flagged had a woman drive through someone’s front yard to go around his truck and him blocking the road. He put a shout out on the radio. And I pulled my dump truck onto the road in a spot that she could not go around. After a two minute temper tantrum during which she honked her horn and flashed her lights. She gave up and turned around. Making people happy. It’s what I do.
Tonight’s shave was nice. Re-honed the Improved Eagle Razor. And it was definitely improved.
C’mon Friday. Hope you guys are doing ok.

Fluffy.

Every now and then somebody will get their panties in a bunch and ask why it's taking so long to open the freeway back up. I guess the burnt car taking up three of the three lanes wasn't enough of a hint. Keep up the good work, Fluffy!

Laid back day today. Raining most of the day because of the tropical storm heading up the coast. Nice relaxing shave. Went with my Charles Coates of Baltimore Ace razor.
Coffee for me can be anytime. So CBL Breakfast Blend soap got the go ahead. whipped up my lather with the brush that John @DeepSea sent my way.(love it).
Wanted a Smokey mentholated AS. Pitralon Classic fit the bill.
C’mon weekend.

Smokey you say huh ? Enjoy the weekend Ken !
To my nose. Yes. But then again my sense of smell is suspect. I get some smoke type of vibe. With wood type scents. My nose gets none of the other scents that are suppose to be in there.
That's why I have a difficult time buying Aftershaves and soaps from the scent profile.
From the web.
Top notes are green notes, lemon, bergamot, mandarin, lavender, and pineapple. Then the heart notes of sage, pepper, coriander, cyclamen, rose, lily of the valley, jasmine, orchid, iris, and cloves takes over. Finally the enduring base notes of cedar wood, vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood, leather, oakmoss, and musk leave their mark.
Hope you have good weekend as well Dave.

Yea Dave it's tantalizingly close. July could see the end. The soap is so "dense" that you don't need a lot to make plenty of lather. When I use Chris's premium soaps. For me it seems that you need to use more product to get the same amount of lather. Not a problem just an observation.
Thanks for checking in. Hope your weekend is going well Dave.
