Fluffy's Curmudgeon Corner

Par for the course day in my world. Dog woke me up at 0700. My one day to sleep in. Grrr.
Hot and humid as Hades. Went grocery shopping with the wife. Let’s just say that she is not decisive. Other than that. It was ok. The one thing that all of us have come to develop as our own version of “Calgon take me away”. Our shave ritual rescued my morale.

Got a bottle of this to try out. Gonna make a wing sauce with it. Add a bit of apple cider vinegar and butter maybe give it some “tanginess”

I am green with envy! I can't get that stuff in TN. When McDonald's did their Old Bay Filet O Fish thing I'd get them all the time. I'm an Old Bay nut.

Excellent shave as always my friend! While my wife is pretty decisive...she still spends a lot of time in the store! 🤪

Not ZZZZZZ another shave....another good shave.... still breathing, still able.. it is a good day...... although I have no safety shirt..and am sad! LOL

Well the more things change. The more they stay the same. Got whored out to my old crew. So I’m not in my assigned big rig. I’m in good old truck #191. The shop man was supposed to get the truck ready to tar and chip. Where do I begin. There was literally a Ton of dirt stuck in the bed. And the plates that are attached to the tailgate for salt spreading purposes. Were still attached and bent. Preventing proper functioning of said tailgate. To add insult to injury. The radio presets were all on incorrect stations. And it was not topped off with fuel.
Requiring yours truly, to fix said issues. The shop man is now officially off my Christmas card list. And on my shit list.
It just kept getting better. As the oxygen tank for our cutting torch was almost empty. Which as you all know, makes for an inconsistent flame. I managed to cut the 6 bolts attaching the plates without having to change out the tank. And left a note on the shop mans desk notifying him that it needed changed out. As well as expressing my appreciation for his commitment to excellence. In carrying out his job duties.
No where to go but up. Fingers crossed, head on a swivel.
Fluffy.
