I’m still waiting on my tub of the soloist to get to me. I sent it to work and it’s stuck somewhere in between the USPS dropping it off at the base mail room and getting into my hands... Military efficiency I guess. Still haven’t had a chance to break into the box ya sent, doesn’t help that I’ve been at work since 0700 and will be here a couple more hours. It’s been a looooong week but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.

I feel your pain Ken. So far I have added 4 or 5 SV soaps to my list. And you cannot blame me for the HCSC soaps. @bentheduck started it!
I'd be curious to know how you like the Soloist. I almost can't believe how much I like the scent. Hang in there John. Hope your weekend goes better than your week.
Can confirm, buying the whole line of a soap is like just ripping the bandaid off really quick.

I’m really looking forward to sniffing it. I already love the soap base. I read a couple days ago the scent of the Soloist is a dupe of an EdT, I’ll have to look for that again to remember the name.
I believe it's supposed to be Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club. Could be wrong and mixed it up with something else.

Saturday went well. Including the shave. 4th time with the Stick Schick. I am noticing the blade beginning to feel less sharp. 1508.5 continues. Nice easy 2 pass shave. No irritation just one miniscule nick. Hope everyone's weekend is going well.

Like DE blades, depending on the brand, the blade edge will calm and remain on a plateau of performance for a bit, then start to really degrade. At least they do for me. Schicks tend to provide a good 10 or more shaves.
I can imagine your "baby face" being pretty easy on blades Chris. But as @NurseDave has observed. My "rugged good looks" are rougher on blades. As with many things there are tradeoffs.
