Fluffy's Curmudgeon Corner

Ok so on the summer thing. If you all want to roast your giblets inside your boxer shorts. Go for it. Not this guy.🥵
Today was ok. Back to full strength at work. Nice shave tonight. The Bengall razor got the call. CBL Inusrgent 1508.5 continues with dogged determination. Whipped up with my Omega Boar brush. AV AS to cool me off. Smooth and clean. Ready to eat what's left of my Chocolate cream pie.
The sink is temporarily going to be a old school manually operated valve. Instead of the "Touch2 O. Electric solenoid. I'm a little more than ticked off that Delta doesn't support their products. The faucet is only a few years old and they don't offer replacement parts (solenoid). For it. Now have to find a work around or fix. Regardless, this will be the last Delta product I purchase.
Hope you all had a good Monday.

Mmm Chocolate Cream Pie!

Bummer about the sink. Guess they gotta make their money some how...guess making you try and buy a whole new faucet is one way... lol

What the hell kind of American company doesn't support their own products?! I'm ticked off with you! I would understand it if there were tons of aftermarket parts.

Unusual move for a faucet company like Delta. Most you can normally call and they send you a part for free and you replace it. Sorry about the lack of support but you'll figure it out. You probably saw this already....

Yup! It's getting hot all over! That really sucks about the faucet. That decides it also...won't be buying that faucet (or any like it) anytime soon. Just told the wife of your demise and she said she wasn't a fan of them anyway. Sweet!

You have inspired me Fluffy! I think next months shave theme just might be along the lines of "Shave that Make You Feel Cool."

Yea Dave that is a different valve type than mine. Think I have a source for a replacement solenoid. But need to confirm that it is correct. $55 is a bit steep to guess.
If/when replaced Delta has lost my future business. I understand “planned obsolescence “. But less than 5 years. Auto industry is 10 years till they purge their stock of replacement parts from dealer network. Most people are ok with not being able to get parts after that long.

Interested to see your thoughts on "One" It has been on my radar
