The rest of my day has gone very well. And the shave this early evening followed suit. Third time was a charm with the Stick Shcick. 1508.5 Remains solidly in effect. But already am hankering for what I have decided will be tomorrows soap. Zingari Man Soloist is on deck and will be lathered with my Yaqui brush from @DeepSea
. Aqua Velva just felt right on this warm day.
Enjoyed all the interactions today. And somehow feel relieved to have pulled the trigger on the brush group buy. Hope all you guys are ready for the weekend.D7AA26DF-48FD-42C3-8033-8086B9E76FE5.jpeg

That shave smells refreshing all the way through. You just reminded me that I have a sample of that soap in a drawer. Might have to grab that when I get home.

Thanks Chris I like the badger that John sent me. If the SV is better. Then I will surely enjoy it. I am enjoying the variety. All my synthetic ones are different in their properties. These badgers are a nice change of pace.

So I found out why the Borotalco Talc. That I ordered a while ago. Hasn't showed up. My lovely bride had Amazon'd some stuff to my step daughter. And when I went and ordered. I did not notice that the shipping address had changed.:poop:

So now have another one on it's way to the correct location. Somehow I will try to keep a positive outlook until then. Hope everyone's Friday is going better than mine.

Well did your step daughter enjoy the talc?

I thought it wasn’t advised for use on females. Or is it babies no matter the sex?
Any tiny kids. The biggest issue is you don’t want them breathing in any powder that is released in the air regardless if it’s talc or corn meal or whatever they use now. The other is if there is any moist skin in a fold area the power will get gummy and kind of accumulate in the fold and promote skin breakdown.

Well guys we made it, Friday is here for another hour and a half anyway. Good shave today. And depending on how you look at it. I am either happy or upset that I have been watching @BarberDave 's SV video series. So far only 1 out of 6 sounds like a soap I don't want. There were already two that I knew I wanted from the soap sample pass around. Then last night I read @Patelliott 's journal with some Texas made soaps. Wound up looking on their site. Gotta increase my Soapaholic Anonymous meeting attendance.
Tonight's shave was pure indulgence. At present time the Soloist soap is the skippiest smelling soap for me. Just is enjoyable from beginning to end. The Toyo 777 Scheon Burg razor checks off every box. And the second use of the Yaqui badger was very nice. Like it a lot. Black Suede AS and Old Spice Talc finishes the VIP feeling.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
