I'm pretty sure it's solid/1 piece of Aluminum. It's a Razorock 400. I've seen other "replica" brushes that are made like the originals. And are two pieces. This was not too bad. Steamed it for 30 mins. And the knot pulled out. The epoxy that was left in the handle appears to be their way of setting the loft of the knot. It was not too difficult to chisel it out. Now I just need to wait till my new Badger knot gets here. And then I get to sniff some glue.Does that have an unscrewable ferrule? Surgery is easier from the bottom.
