Eric did a beautiful job on those brushes. The lighter wood highlight is very striking!

Excellent stuff fellow Titan experimenter!!! Great write up!
Thank you Dave! Since I could not do a video I felt the need to be extra thorough. My Bio degree coming in handy!

I love it. Once he gets the shop up and running I have my eye on one or two of the resin blanks he made.

So why "can't" you post a video? If a goober like me can. Anyone can.

So the house my wife and I bought was built in the 40's and needed a ton of work. Part of that is the bathroom which doesn't have good lighting. There are no outlets in the bathroom so I cannot add additional lighting with a lamp. This will be fixed this summer.
My shave den does have great lighting, but it is currently housing a gremlin disguised as my wife's cat. I am also allergic to said cat. So my shave den is off limits to me...

So my Macguyver brain thinks "extension cord, drop light. Problem solved." Plus a video saves you so much typing. And @NurseDave soo much reading.
Just a thought.

My wife conned me into this.
She said and I quote "my cat is old and she is going to pass soon and I want her final days to be in the house."
My reply "as long as she doesn't sit in my chair, then I don't mind her spending her last days in the house."
She gets to the house and this "sickly" cat is running all over the place jumping from furniture to furniture. I look it up and this cat probably has anywhere from 1 to 3 years left.
And she said DAYS!

well she didn't specify how many days did she? Gotta watch for that fine print!

Cats are definitely in charge.... if they had thumbs they would clearly be running the world.... and canned tuna would have a shortage

WARNING: Long Post...Again
Sorry @NurseDave
This was Day 2 of the re-creation experiment. Up for testing today was CCB Premium Iron Throne. So that this post is not as long as yesterday's I will not post the procedure, but you can always go back to yesterday's to see how I am testing each soap.

For Strength of Scent I would have to put this at a little less than ETHOS Succès, but not by much. All I had to do was raise the tub about 4 inches off the counter and the scent hit me in the face. It did disappear a little during the shave, but part of that could be the cooling agent too. Still a pleasant scent.
Latherability was slightly below ETHOS. 2.5 mL with 3 brush dips and the first lather took about 2 minutes longer to build.
Cushion was great. First pass was on par with ETHOS, but passes two and three were a little less. I could feel the blade slightly, but not bad at all. I do believe the Tonsorial Base has more cushion and in shave protection, but sacrifices a bit of the slickness. The Master Barber Base has about the same cushion as the Tonsorial and imo is right in between the Premium and Tonsorial Bases as far as slickness is concerned.
Slickness and Residual slickness is where this soap sets itself apart from ETHOS. Off the charts slick and very effortless.
Post-shave feel was where I was shocked. This soap is right up there with the best of them. I don't know why I don't remember this, but I was sure to make a note of it today.

This was an awesome shave and like @BarberDave I will not discuss pricing as a ranking factor. However, for what you get with this soap and what you pay, you cannot go wrong at all. @CBLindsay fantastic job on your soaps. I am super excited to see what you come out with next. I have seen some of your samples in other member's SOTD photos and I am super excited about a few of them!

Everything pictured above was used in today's shave. Everything was purchased by myself except the brush which was a generous PIF by @Smattayu and passed off by @Dave in KY.
