Down in the Heart of Texas!

Atomic Age CK-6 is my favorite soap, although I'm eagerly awaiting getting to try Ethos/CBL Lime. Congratulations on your shave!

Thank you! I am waiting for that soap too. Especially after The Dave's reviews.

Don’t forget your eye patch on the way out!

Party city is still closed...

Great post! But as a PSA, you have to include the standard “Arghhh!” Somewhere in your Bay Rum posts.
Now Chris's post makes more sense. I will remember that for next time!

This was last nights shave and it was a good one. Soap sample and razor were provided by Ken aka Fluffy aka @Maryland998. The razor is still very sharp and very smooth and a pleasure to shave with. Now for the soap. I am not going to lie, this soap was not on my radar. I am very picky when it comes to citrus soaps because sometimes the fragrance can come off as very synthetic or very sweet and it gives me a headache. But I can admit when I am wrong. Ken this was a great soap to throw in and I am glad I got to try it. The scent isn't overly sweet and it has a nice smokiness to it. This may be going on the WTBS list. I believe this is B&M's Excelsior base and that base is always a joy to use. Very good slickness, residual slickness, and cushion.
The 2nd Anniversary Brush is getting easier to use. It does not splay like my Yaqi or SynBad, but if I start on my jaw line it isn't that difficult. I will say that once this brush does splay it exfoliates as well as a boar brush.
Also I am torn on what to use for tonight's shave. I was thinking of using either Leviathan by B&M or Grecian Horse by A&E. Since I cannot decide I will leave it up to the Cadre.

Thanks for reading and I hope y'all have a great Friday!

So this was supposed to be last nights shave, but little man had a different plan for me when I got home. Today while he was asleep I thought it would be the perfect time to get this shave in. Grecian Horse had more votes yesterday so it got the nod. I really like the scent of this soap. It is not as light as I was expecting, but still a nice fall scent. If this soap comes back in stock I will definitely get it. The A&E soap base is a pleasure to use although I really don't see a difference when using the PAA pre-shave Cube. Maybe I am using it wrong. Tomorrow I will continue with the samples with Leviathan! Thanks @Maryland998 for sending me these samples. So far my WTB list is just growing!

Thanks for reading Cadre, and I hope y'all have a great holiday weekend!

I have yet to try any soaps from A&E or the other brands his soaps get offered under. There's a lot they interest me though... And that's one of them. Hmmmm No Chad you don't need more soap!
