Pat saving the pastor’s shave soul! Preach it brother! :ROFLMAO:

Glad the missus had a good first Mother’s Day. Here’s to many more!🍻

Sounds good Pat. Packing up your box today. If all goes well i'll pm you a tracking number tomorrow. Or you could just have @Dave in KY let you know. He's got USPS ESP.
The Soioist is the real deal. One of the many things I have @Dave in KY to thank for.
Thanks Ken I will do the same for you. The Soloist is definitely very high up on my list and especially after today's shave. Ever since I started using a syringe to control the amount of water I add to the soap I have been getting great results. And I have you and Dave to thank for recommending the Soloist. Zingari Man should definitely be giving some sort of profit share!

Enjoy the day Pat
Thanks Dave you too!

Sounds like a great day Pat.
It has been so far. I'll probably do a Zoom call later with my mom. Hope you and your family have a great day!

Haha I did not even think of it that way. My pastor grows the Duck Dynasty beard, but shaves his head. He was asking about wet shaving and what I would recommend, so I told him I would put together a kit and a set of instructions for him. I told him I can answer some questions, but there is a ton of information here so he said he would check it out sometime this week.
The wife says thank you and I hope your wife is having a great Mother's Day too!

Yesterday's shave was pretty great and I forgot to post it. Whoops. Yesterday I chased BBS, I succeeded, and I did not regret it this morning. In fact the shave yesterday was so good that there was not the usual amount of stubble today, so BBS was achieved easier! Love the King of Oud scent and performance, and I just got the aftershave. I need to start reading labels because I did not know there was menthol in it. What a way to wake up though. All in all it was a great shave with a great soap base, soap scent, and a really nice aftershave!

Thanks for reading Cadre, and I hope y'all have had a great week so far!

Has anyone used PAA CK-6 Atomic Age Bay Rum and Sangre De Drago? I'm just curious what y'all thought if them. I am looking for a Bay Rum with a little bit of spice, but is not totally overpowered by clove, and then I have always been curious about Dragons Blood. Secondly, I am eyeing some Wizamet blades, but have noticed two different ones. Are you supposed to get the ones that say "IRIDIUM™️" or "IRIDIUM®️"? Also, has anyone tried the Gillette Rubie blades?

I use PAA CK-6 Atomic Age Bay Rum, and I love it. It takes very little to produce a lot of slick, softening lather, and contains no clove at all. I also love the splash and the EdP. It's my favorite Bay Rum. I haven't tried Danger De Drago.

Sangre, not Danger. Autocorrect doesn't speak Spanish apparently.

I have the PAA AA Bay Rum and love it. No clove in it. Mine is the older formula so I can’t help with the new base. The Sandre de Drago is on my buy list.

@MarkB can shed more light on the PAA soaps.

I was a "Tallow or GTFO" guy for a long time. Vegan soaps to me meant subpar lather and subpar shaves..

Phoenix Shaving's CK-6 base converted me.

I don't have the Sangre de Drago but I'll echo the praises others have given for their Atomic Age Bay Rum.. I'm a Bay Rum slut from WAAAAAAAAY back and this is the best I've ever used.

Awesome! Thanks Mark!

I have a 100 plus of the Gillette Rubie Platinum Plus blades. Sharp and smooth they be and I used one today in my SOTD. They have since rebranded them and dropped the platinum plus from the label I believe but they are the same. I put them in the same league as the Gillette Silver Blues with perhaps a bit more sharpness to them if that makes sense. IMO they are a great blade...
