Overview
The Cashmere knot in my Anniversary Brush is really, really great. The Oud Minerale is also a fabulous scent.

Shave Quality
The CBL soap is still my top soap. I love the performance and the scent of this one is stellar. Unfortunately I was a bit pressed for time so I got a bit carried away with the razor and gave myself a nick and some lasting razor burn. Even though the shave was rough, I was very happy with the soap. It was surprising how aggressive setting 4.0 on the Model T is. I will have to be more careful with it in the future. The shave was BBS- if you discount the lasting irritation.
Gear
The Anniversary brush is beautiful. I love Eric's handiwork. He makes the best handles that I have ever seen. Some day I will get a Paladin, but I don't think it will beat my Sorrentino brushes. I also love the knot. I definitely made the right choice for me in the Cashmere knot. This brush is going to become a favorite.
I wish I had a large tub of the Oud Minerale. CBL soaps are number 1 in my den. The artisans and hobbyists here at TSC are truly top notch craftsmen and craftswomen.
Other Thoughts
Right now I am watching Big Bang Theory season 8 for the first time. I love it. I love how the characters have grown over time.

Very nice thoughts Doug! Glad you like the Oud Mineral. My wife took a sniff of that and immediately loved the scent! But it really does suck when you are expecting a really nice shave and then that irritation come into play! The Doctor prescribes a day of rest and then at it again soon. Just not on setting four!

The week started out rough, but has been smooth sailing for three shaves now.

Shave Quality
Sunday's shave with the General was rough, which is strange for that razor. So, after the shave I binned the blade. My face was already a little roughed up from last week, so after that shave, I decided to give my face a day to recover. Tuesday I was in a hurry so 'JECTAH with some KMF gave me a great shave. Wednesday I was back to the CBL Oud Minerale and the Model-T with a new blade. A lighter touch and a Voskhod contributed to a very comfortable BBS. Thursday's shave was a repeat except at 4.5, and today's was at 5.0.
Gear
I love my Anniversary brush and have been using it quite a bit, but today's shave was the first with my new Membership brush. The handle is tamboti with a SIlk Smoke knot. This is another absolutely stellar brush from @Smattayu. It is also one of the softest knots that I have ever used. I love my Sorrentino brushes.
Other Thoughts
Happy Friday.
Last night we started season 10 of BBT. Loving it.
Weight loss is hard and progress can be slow. I am getting results, but I wish I was getting more results faster.
