That really sucks about the Model T. I would reach out also. Chances are you are not the only one having the same issue.

Lent in Louisiana is tough. I was thinking about having Chargrilled Oysters for lunch. Or maybe a Shrimp Poboy. Seafood Gumbo? BBQ Shrimp? Crawfish Etoufee? Grilled Frog Legs? Blackened Alligator? Catfish Nuggets? Oh, I know...Boiled Crawfish!

I guess I will contact them. First, I will try a couple of other blades in it to verify that it is not a blade defect.

Today's shave was really great. The Pumacker has a great edge. I like LIsa's new formula. The lather was a bit too thin, but it worked okay. I came away BBS and feeling great. There is something about a straight shave that feels like nothing else. And I only gave myself a couple of small nicks.

Gear
Great stuff all around.

Other Thoughts
Having a nice relaxing weekend.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

I did a cleanup pass during today's shave with the Model T. The Rapira blade felt like it was evenly exposed.

I love KMF, as you all know. The shaves with it have been great. Although the Rapira blade is perhaps not the best blade in this razor. It is much better than the Rockwell blade, which was longer on one side than the other. This blade feels like it aligns perfectly in the Model T.

The GD Magnolia & Oud was f*****g fantastic even though I gave it a bit too much water. Rich, slick, and protective. I can see why everyone here loves Grooming Department. The soap smells great and is a killer performer. It left my face feeling great. This is definitely one that I would like to keep around. It is definitely Elite Tier, but I think I still prefer CBL soaps. They are just a bit higher performing for me. However, I absolutely love this scent. This would be a wonderful soap to 3017.

Other Thoughts
Feeling good today. I have been at a bit of a plateau for the past couple of weeks weight-wise. Today I hopped on the scale. I really need to schedule a weigh-in day and keep to it. The past few times that I have hit the scale I have been disappointed. I was expecting more of the same today, but instead I was rewarded with the scale telling me that I have passed my current short-term weight loss goal! I am setting my goals in 5 pound increments. Cutting most of the white carbs out of my diet while eating more high fat, high protein foods with lots of veggies is working out for me and Intermittent Fasting. (Yes, this is basically Keto with IF, but I am not tracking carbs to that level or trying to get into Ketosis.) Hopefully this will translate into more positive changes in my bloodwork next time I get it done. There is very little that I actively miss. However, there were bagels in the kitchen at work this morning. I was tempted to eat half of one, but I am fasting, so if they are still there at noon I may indulge. Hopefully, they will be gone by then.

I don't usually miss, or really even crave, those white carbs... unless I can see and smell them. If they are right in front of me, then they are hard to avoid.
It gets better, an easier. The longer you have them out of your diet, the less you will desire them. I don't crave anything outside my diet anymore, and it doesn't matter what someone has in front of me, I don't crave it. It barely even sounds good anymore.......... And if there is something you are craving or tempted by, there are keto recipes for just about everything, and you can make a suitable substitute that will satisfy your cravings.

WRONG!!! No soap is a good soap to 3017! 🤪

Just remember that just because the scale isn't moving, doesn't mean you are not burning fat or that something isn't happening that isn't being picked up by the scale! I hit 65 pounds of weight loss months ago and the scale didn't budge or went the opposite way. But my waistline kept getting smaller and smaller!

This is pretty much what I am doing now and I am still seeing positive results. You will likely go in and out of ketosis on that diet which is a good thing in my opinion. It's nice that your body can be metabolically flexible...switching between carbs and fat for energy!

Keep up the great work!
