\\n\\nlove the feeling of first breaking that hole thinking to myself the end is near. Fast forward three week later realizing that I still might have a month in my puck.
\\n\\nHave heard it takes forever to finish a tub once you get to the \\\"doughnut\\\". Have a tub of GD Aether than reached that stage after 6 shaves. Despite not loading heavy, many od these soaps get used up faster due to the softer consistsncy, but it does lead to a fantastic lather. congradulations on reaching the doughnut stage!

I didn't weigh the tub before starting, so I haven't kept track of my usage on this one. I will hopefully remember for the next CBL tub. However, this soap has been disappearing fast. I find that the softer artisan soaps do 3017 faster than the harder soap pucks. We shall see how long it ends up lasting.

Hopefully the process will complete quickly so that I can safely tell everyone my news....

Besides buffing my chin a bit too much, today was a really excellent shave with the B1 Flare Tip. Do you know that feeling where the razor is moving across your face and it feels like the skin is magnetically drawn to the razor as it passes over? Yeah, I had that today while shaving. It was a really great feeling. Great lather. Great shave.

Gear
Definitely a redemption shave.

Just get it over with already!

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

Today's shave was really good. It was still a little more irritating than normal, but it was good overall. The new brush worked well. I was BBS- all day.

The Big Ben blade was not a bad choice for the Super Speed, but I feel like there are better blades out there for this razor.

The WCS brush was wonderful. The bristles are soft and floppy with wide splay. It whipped up a great CBL lather for its inaugural shave.

My news: I gave two weeks notice today at my current job. I was just waiting on the background check to complete before completely letting the cat out of the bag. I start a new job on 12/17/2018.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

Hopefully a move toward a bit less stress and hassle? Congrats!
Well, it must be an improved situation or you wouldn't be doing it. Guess that's what I meant
It is a move in a positive direction for my career as an SQA Engineer. It will be new challenges using new (to me) technologies. It is also a bump in pay, which is always appreciated.

Thank you for the well wishes.
