Shave Quality
Today's shave was really top notch. The lather was dense and ultra slick. (I made about 8 passes worth.) The blade was sharp and smooth. It was two passes of awesome with no lasting irritation. I walked away DFS+/BBS- and quite happy.B13

Gear
Parker blades continue to impress.

I am still in love with Tabac.O70

Other Thoughts
We saw Venom last week. It was a very entertaining movie. I am not sure why the critics didn't like it.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

Really liking everyone using their Noir synths. ?

Not sure why I haven’t gotten one yet.

Have a great day Doug!

Also, we started watching "The Haunting of Hill House" on Netflix last night. It is really, really well done. I recommend it. It will scare you.

My wife and I watched the whole season last weekend. I was VERY impressed! I'm not going to say that it frightened me of my wits, but there were moments in the series that were unnerving and terrifying in a very different way. I also would recommend people to watch it!

I was going to watch this yesterday. But then I queued it up and realized it's a series an not a movie. I'm looking forward to it, but I just need to find time so I can binge it. I can't even tell you the last time a movie scared me. I do love feeling unnerved though. It just takes a lot to phase me.

I think this one will do it to you. I don't creep out that easily, and this one does it to me.

I can definitely see that. This series is produced very well. Some of the characters drive me nuts, but that's part of the story. Like I said...you're not going to jump out of your seat or anything. But there are times that makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Shave Quality
Another day, another off the charts Tabac lather. It was wet, sloppy, and wonderful today. I whipped up about 9 passes worth of lather and ended up slinging it all over the place. I swear I just about got more on my chest and stomach than on my face. Oh, and it was slick. The Williams pre-shave really boost what was already a really slick soap. I need to start getting used to my fingers being extra slick throughout the shave. I would be full-on BBS if not for a couple of rough spots on my neck, so BBS- is the outcome today. I had the DOC at its tightest setting. The Parker blade loved it. I think I need to open it up just a bit for tomorrow's shave.

Gear
SS DOC Ascension + Parker Platinum blade = holy s**t that's a great combo. It is almost like these were made for each other.

Other Thoughts
I have a number of emotions about 3017ing. It is wonderful to wake up each day knowing what my shave has to offer. It is a great feeling to get a soap really dialed in and working. It is fun to play around with the water band and get different shave feels from the same soap. However, it is also a little sad when I think of all the product that is sitting in my den unused while I focus hard on this one thing. It is frustrating when ring of death won't get any smaller for what seems like an eternity. Only to have it end in a huge feeling of satisfaction when looking at that empty tub or dish for the first time.

Tonight my wife and I will be watching the last two episodes of "The Haunting of Hill House." I am going to be sad when it is over. This is some of the best horror that I have seen in a long time.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

As far as the 3017 thing...you could always do three days of the week with one soap and the other days switch it up .
