Doug's Journal of Shaving Happiness v2.0

The sandalwood scents are all slightly different and very nice. The vetiver is good. So is the mahogany.

I have used this soap base before and really liked it. I will post a review when I get around to using one of them.

Two passes of great lather for DFS+ with zero alum feedback. I have had a ton of great shaves over the past few days.

Gear
The Bullet-Tip MM is a good razor. It is milder than the models that came before it and possibly a good starting point for a GEM newbie.

Rewatching GoT season 7 today. Good stuff.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

GoT? Have I missed something and the new season is on the way soon?

Getting caught up Doug. I have actually seen those soaps before. Perhaps from you over at the other place. I forgot about them though. I will need to go back and explore some more.

For about $8 shipped for a single 4oz. puck on Ebay there is no reason not give them a try. They have a ton of scents (so many that they have two different listings for the soap) to make it even more tempting.

Another great shave today. BBS- in two passes. Very little alum feedback. Shaving life is good.

The Latha lather is still great and the puck is going strong. I need to weigh it again soon. I think I may take it on my upcoming trip also. I would normally take an Arko stick, but I want to keep going with this tub.

Other Thoughts
GoT season 7 was great. It certainly repaired the weekend for me. On Saturday I watched Goliath season 2 on Prime. It was horrible. Season 1 was great and I was really disappointed. Sunday GoT made me feel better. I can't wait to see season 8.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

nice one Doug...it's a shame we have to wait a while still for season 8, but I think it will be worth it as all the episodes will be mini-movies.

I herd the same about Goliath. But Amazon has really upped their game lately. I know it's probably geared more to women, but Prime has a show called The Marvelous Mrs Maisel that is absolutely incredible. Some of the best writing in a series I have seen and some really great acting! Check it out and make sure you watch the entire first episode.

Interesting new soaps - I'm not familiar with them.....Nice job with the R41. I tried one once, but it didn't like me.....Good to know about Goliath season 2; now I won't have to waste time. I liked season 1.

I will check it out!

It was okay until the last two episodes (7 & 8). It just fell off a cliff. I kept wondering what drugs the writers were on as I watched those two episodes.

I'll have to check that one out too

If you enjoy sci-fi and can stomach the HBOified GoT scenes, you may like Altered Carbon. It’s like an HBOified Blade Runner.
