Shave Quality
The shaves have been great, but I have lost track of what gear I used when. I do remember that I am 38 shaves into the Heritage Hill Washington; and I'm still loving it. The synthetics give me better lathers than the badgers. I think my current favorite is the rainbow handled 26mm Yaqi with the soft, brown synthetic knot. It feels great on my face and gives me the lather that I like.
Gear
Yaqi 26mm synthetic FTW!
Kirin NYC makes great perfumes.
Other Thoughts
I am trying to watch less streaming and do more gaming and reading. I also need to get some writing done.
I am absolutely in love with Marvel Champions: the Card Game from Fantasy Flight Games (link: Marvel Champions: The Card Game). I also love Arkham Horror: The Card Game also from Fantasy Flight Games (link: Arkham Horror: The Card Game). They are both cooperative games that are excellent to play solo, especially MC, and can support up to 4 players. They are expandable with lots of existing content and more on the roadmap. They are a little on the spendy side, but I think they are worth the investment. These are my two favorite card games right now.
On the RPG side, I am falling more and more back into love with D&D 5e. It is a fabulous game with a metric butt load of content available.
Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.
Those all look like fun. I may have to pickup Thanos Rising for when my Sunday game group (4 players) can start meeting again.Doug we love to play cooperative games too! I think we have had a few conversations about it. I would recommend these for sure are our favorites:
https://smile.amazon.com/USAOPOLY-H...eywords=hogwarts+battle&qid=1616592896&sr=8-1 (the expansion packs are awesome and technically with the expansions you have like 10+ games in one, so you can determine the level of difficulty you want to play. We still haven't even gotten to the hardest level yet the game is a true challenge, and no Harry Potter knowledge needed)
https://smile.amazon.com/Potter-Hog...eywords=hogwarts+battle&qid=1616592896&sr=8-3 (this one is actually player vs. player but it follows similar principles as the one above and is a lot shorter of a game, we play it camping after the kids are asleep)
It is a nice feeling when you imagination starts kicking in. I am looking into products (like solo pen & paper RPGs) to help me start building stories.Megan and I really need to bring out our game nights again.
I have also been reading more and need to get some writing done, I am behind on like 5 articles I need to write, and updating my journal weekly has fallen to the wayside.
I am having fun. Part of being a GM/DM is teaching new players. I actually have a ton of experience with first-time players of various RPGs. When I run games at gaming conventions I often get players that are either brand new to the game I am running, have only played it a few times, or are completely new to roleplaying games. I have run games for worse groups than the TSC group.Oh and the D&D I am thoroughly enjoying myself it really is a highlight of our week. Thank you for having the patience to teach a bunch of noobs.
My thoughts exactlyThe Game Changer is a very solid razor. I just don't like the strange way that the blade loads. That is not going to stop me from using and enjoying it, however.
