Another great shave from the 34c. This is my best performing razor. Got a BBS that has lasted for hours. So nice.

Other Thoughts
Apparently I was exposed to Covid on Saturday. Trying to get a test in a reasonable amount of time right now is impossible. I have a free test appointment at a local pharmacy, but not until a week from today. I tried to get some rapid tests, but those will take two weeks to get here. Wow.

A good shave, even accounting for the weepers.

Shave Quality
I often get good results with a Flare Tip SS, but they also can be a bit rough on my face. BBS today, face and (mostly) neck. There are a couple of small rough patches and there were a couple of tiny weepers with a bit of residual irritation. Overall it was a good shave.
Gear
I like the look and heft of the Flare Tip SS, but the blade is held a little too flat in the razor head for me. If I don't carefully ride the cap, I am sure to see red (skin and some blood). Post-War Techs and 1940's Style Super Speeds are easier on my face.
Soap is performing well, but the fragrance has almost completely disappeared from the puck. This isn't really a problem, just a small disappointment. The AS splash still smells good. The soap tub weighed 122 grams today.
Burberry Brit is a favorite. I am a Burberry Fanboy.
Other Thoughts
I think I may have Covid. I am feeling today like I felt after I got my first vaccine dose, not too bad just slightly off and a bit headache-y. I am definitely getting tested as soon as I can.

Shave Quality
The shave was another good one, but I am still a tiny bit rough in places on my neck. Cheeks are fine and the residual irritation disappeared quickly. Call it DFS+.
Gear
Techs are still some of the best 3 piece razors available. They can be a tad aggressive with an off angle, but they do get good to great results. I like the all brass versions to the zamak cap versions.
The PAA blade is still working well.
Still enjoying the WCS soap and aftershave. Still trying to find a fragrance to really match them. But, barbershop on top of barbershop is still really good.
1881 Men is a great old-school scent. It has definite barbershop vibes, but in a very coniferous way. Lots of florals too. I need to wear this more.
Other Thoughts
Feeling better today. Still a touch off, but mostly normal. I have a rapid test on the way and a scheduled lab test on Tuesday. I will probably be back to normal before getting to take either test.

It was nice to have a three day weekend.

Great shave today. It was BBS with very little irritation remaining. There was one very small rough spot on my lower neck, but it has cleared up.
Gear
DE89 style razors are a no-brainer. Sometimes it is nice to not have to think about it.
The ZaZa worked better today. Perhaps it was the razor. Perhaps it was just smoothing out for the second shave.
Blue Cedar and Cypress is my current favorite Cremo cologne.
Other Thoughts
Long weekends are nice, but this one caught me by surprise. I am off by a day on my estimated deadline at work. Playing catch up is no fun.
Had my covid test today. I hope it is negative. I will find out in a couple of days. I am going to acquire a few rapid tests to have on hand in case this happens again. I am feeling fine, however, so it should be all good either way.

The recovery hasn't really started yet. It is going to take 6-12 months to do the cleanup. I don't know when the rebuilding is going to start. Lots of people are still getting all their insurance details ironed out.
