For the past couple of weeks I have reacquired the RPG book bug. I have acquired several Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition books. Unfortunately, my collection is not yet complete. There are several adventures that I am missing. I will get them eventually.

Shave Quality
Loading the brush was difficult today. The "ring of death" in the bottom of the tub started lifting up and breaking. This made it difficult to load the soap without getting huge chunks of soap in my bowl. However, it made a great lather which led to an excellent BBS shave. My adam's apple is still not completely healed, but it didn't get any worse today.

Gear
The SLOC is a very nice shaver. I am really enjoying it. I hope that Italian Barber makes a stainless version of the head some day.

Jacques Bogart makes great fragrances. One Man Show is a wonderful, woody fragrance with notes of pine, oakmoss, and leather. These classic fragrances that today tend to be really inexpensive are still fabulous, even if the kiddies these days like to call them "dated."

Other Thoughts
Fifth Edition Dungeons and Dragons is definitely the best version of D&D ever produced.

Shave Quality
The soap is hanging on but not for long. I am just a few days away from an empty tub. The lather continues to be excellent. The shaves have been great. No complaints.

Gear
The shave gear is great. I love the SLOC. The 6C is an excellent shaver also.

The soap is really, really good.

The Legend Spirit is very modern and bubblegum-y. It is pleasant. I would keep it around. The Versace Blue Jeans I could take or leave. It is nice, but really light.

Other Thoughts
New kitten day!! We decided that our remaining cat needed a friend. That new friend arrived today.

A fabulous shave

Shave Quality
The brush got a couple of good sized chunks out of the tub, which I pressed down into my shave mug. The lather was really great. The shave was amazing. I think the blade performed better that it did for the first shave. Glass honing really made for a smooth shave.

Gear
Treet Classic blades are excellent. The current blade works very well in the Rockwell.

I would definitely buy this soap again, but in a different scent.

Other Thoughts
I like the new kitten, Archie. However, he makes me sad because he is a stark reminder of the cat we lost. I really miss that cat.

It sucks looking a pet. We had a cat for 9 years and he decided to run away one day despite being a de-clawed indoor cat. We put up fliers and offered a reward but he was never seen again.

Archie looks like a nice kitty good choice:)

Well Doug. I am not sure whether you have ever had an "orange" cat. But it seems you are already experiencing the unique qualities of these animals.
My wife is a registered vet technician with 30+ years of experience. And believes the gene that causes this particular coloration in felines. Also has other behavioral traits attached to it. Archie may or may not exhibit these. Only time will tell.
Be prepared for him to be strong willed, contrary, and nonconforming. They do however grow on you. Like a fungus that you pick up in a central American jungle.
Last July we spent well over $2K keeping Tang alive. Severe pancreatitis. If not for my wife's skills and knowledge he would certainly have died.

A decent finish to the soap

Shave Quality
The lather came out a bit thin, however the shave was still good. Overall it ended on a good note.

Gear
The LNHC soap is really good stuff. It worked well with the EJ and the Treet Classic.

GTB EdP is a nice fragrance.

Other Thoughts
So far the older cat does not want to be in the same room as the new kitten. I hope she warms up to him soon.

@dkeester glad you are getting along with the SLOC. I agree it is a good razor and I never had any issue with it, I just never seemed to reach for it, Glad it found new home where it will be used. (y) I have the new redesigned RazoRock Lupo SS being delivered tomorrow.

PDM Percival is nice, but doesn't seem to last very long on me.

Four day work weeks are nice.

Shave Quality
The lather was great today. Nice and thick. It made for a great shave. The blade is still giving great results.

Gear
The soap felt better on my face today. I am wondering if one of the soap components is what is reacting with my skin. At least it isn't too bad.

The Treet Classic is an amazingly good blade for me. It feels great on my face and gives me good results. I should perhaps get some in bulk.

I love Azzaro Pour Homme. It is great perfume.

Other Thoughts
I really want the older cat to get along with the new kitten. The kitten really wants to be friends with her.

Give it time. Our first animal in the house (other than me 🤪) was Ozzy, the big orange fluff ball. He hated both Willie and Lucy when they made their entrances. It only lasted for about a week each time and now they all get along great.

Hey Doug. Talked to my wife. Explained your situation with Archie. She gave me a tip that was "news to me". I was shocked. :eek: And here I've been thinking I know everything. She goes and serves up a big 'ol piece of humble pie.
Pro Vet Tech tip to get cats to accept each other. A bit of sensory trickery. A single drop of pure vanilla extract. Directly on the top of both their heads and rub it in.
They will get used the vanilla smell on themselves. This familiarity then makes them more comfortable when they smell that same scent on the other cat.
Hope this possibly helps your critters get along better.
Kind of like if two guys meet on the street and they are both rocking Tabac Cologne. Each one knows the other is good people.
