Not completely recovered, but I really needed a shave.

Shave Quality
The lather was great. The blade was sharp and smooth. I got a really great BBS shave, except for one small patch. Very good stuff.

Gear
All good on the shaving front.

The Cremo cologne is really excellent stuff at a great price.

Geoffrey Beene Bowling Green is also killer juice.

Other Thoughts
Having kind of a meh week, but I am smelling good while doing it.

Shave Quality
Sunday's shave was really good, but today's left me with lots of razor burn. I will need to be more careful with the aggressive Karve plates.

Gear
The "F" plate is aggressive. I might have to save this one for shaves after I have skipped a day or two.

Good frags.

Other Thoughts
It is hard to get into the Christmas Spirit this year. Go figure.

While true, it goes beyond that. For years I have bought myself the things I want. I don't wait for birthdays or Christmas. Christmas is all about getting together with family and going to Midnight Mass with my wife. This year it is looking like it will just be me, my wife Emily, and our two cats. Pandemics suck.

I realized after replying that you were probably trying to inject some humor with the comment. So, I apologize if I took it the wrong way and for being a downer.

I am sorry that you won't be able to see your parents this holiday season. It really sucks.

No shave - dealing with the sick cat

Overview
A decent brushless shave between two skips

Shave Quality
The Cremo cream works well enough brushless. I did two passes with the 'Jectah. The results were okay for a rushed shave.

Gear
Cremo Shave Cream is an okay product. I need to work it with a brush next time.

Good frags. I really like the Tabu. It is bold and interesting.

Other Thoughts
2020 strikes again. My older cat, the marmalade tabby named Ringo, is dying. He has kidney failure that we have been managing for a few years. Over the weekend he stopped eating. We can't get him to eat at all. At this point he can barely walk due to muscle atrophy. Between that, and him having to be on gabapentin to kill the pain from his arthritis, his quality of life is really not good. Tomorrow we have an in-home appointment to euthanize him. He is 17 years old. We got him during our first year of marriage (2003) right after we moved into our first apartment here in Colorado. He is a very affectionate cat to my wife and I. We are going to miss him more than I can say. We are losing a family member, but we can't watch him suffer anymore. I don't want to give up on him, but he has given up. It is time to let him go. 2020 really sucks.

That is tough Doug. They are like family to us. It's never easy to deal with. Thinking about you brother.
