Shave Quality
Today was another great shave. The Merkur 15c really delivered on top of the Tabac lather. The residual slickness was amazing. Not quite BBS, but close enough with just a tiny bit of irritation. Really great overall.
Gear
Went all in on Tabac today. Just an absolutely fabulous scent. I think it is one of the best fragrances in all of the wetshaving market.
Other Thoughts
Last night's Anniversary dinner. at one of the most expensive restaurants in Denver, was really good. It was a great evening.

Cuba Prestige is an inexpensive clone fragrance. It cost me ~$8 USD at Ross. It is really fun and good smelling, just not expensive smelling. It doesn't have to be high-end to be uplifting and enjoyable.

I want another bottle of the wine from our Anniversary. So, so good.

Score another win for Tabac. The shave was everything a Tabac shave should be. The lather was rich, slick, and protective. The razor just skated across my face. Every shave should be this good.
Gear
Tabac FTW, again.
Today's perfume is kinda disappointing to me. It smells good, but it is really light and I have been having a hard time smelling it on myself. I would like to be able to enjoy my own perfume without having to put my nose directly against my wrist to get a whiff. But, since it only ran me ~$13, I won't complain loudly. I just probably won't wear it often.
Other Thoughts
I don't think I could stand only shaving every other day (well, my face would like it), but I do see the merit in taking at least one day off each week. My face feels better when I am not scraping it up every day.

The lather has been great. The shave with the Crown was really good. The shave with the Permasharp was a little rough. The results were good both times, but today's shave left me a bit irritated.
Gear
The Crown Platinum is a good blade. The Permasharp is decent. The shave with the Crown was much better.
Both fragrances are great and very different. The Oud Sharqia is strange and wonderful.
Other Thoughts
Watching The Haunting of Bly Manor on Netflix. It is good, but disjointed in places. It is not as good as The Haunting of Hill House but it is really good.

My face needed the break on Sunday. The shave today was pretty good. I did have some irritation afterwards, but that has subsided now. Tabac continues to deliver on the lather. The slickness and cushion are good. The razor and blade were only a little bit rough on my face. Better than the 7O'Clock Permasharp was.
Gear
7O'Clock Super Platinum is an above average blade in one of my Single Rings. Much better than the 7O'Clock Permasharp was.
EL London is pleasant but not the best performer. It also has some longevity problems on my skin. Good, not great. I probably won't replace it when the bottle is empty.
Other Thoughts
Started watching Helstrom on Hulu last night. It started out strong in the first episode, but has failed to impress in subsequent episodes. We finished Bly Manor before digging into Helstrom. It failed to stick the landing for us.

Chrome United is good stuff. I seem to gravitate to fragrances with violet and/or violet leaf. This one is violet leaf and black tea. Not my best frag, but a really good one.
Other Thoughts
Season 2 of Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix is really, really good. I am liking it more than season 1.
