I wanted to shave, but had to get an early start this morning. At least I smell good.

Uomo is good stuff. I love violet leaf in fragrances. This one is good, but is not going to set the world on fire.

Great shave today with this classic GEM-style razor. BBS in two passes with no real lasting irritation.

Gear
The Ever-Ready really delivered today. It was one of the best GEM shaves that I have ever had.

CK One Shock is great. I just wish it lasted longer.

Other Thoughts
I miss my Wednesday game nights.

Shave Quality
I went a little too steep on the angle today with the R41, so I am a little tender but recovering. The shave was good but only in the DFS range. But, I an using my favorite soap, so I won't complain.

Gear
I love Tabac. Does it show?

I should probably use the R41 more often. It gives good results with careful attention to angle.

Other Thoughts
The last quarter of 2020 starts today. It will be nice to have 2020 behind me. I hope 2021 brings better things.

Shave Quality
Kind of a rough shave today. The lather was good, but was too dry for the first pass. Added more for the second, but the damage was done. My face was on fire from the razor burn afterwards. It is much better now, but I may need a day off. The shave is BBS-ish.

Gear
Hard soaps need more water. Even when the lather looks right in the bowl, it probably needs more water.

Clubman on a Friday is a wonderful, wonderful thing.

Gear
Kiehl's Original Musk is floral and animalic. Definitely an classic fragrance. It projects heavy at first, but quickly becomes a skin scent. Still, it is really great stuff. This is the best musk fragrance that I have ever encountered.

Other Thoughts
I rearranged my soap collection today. I have a ton of stuff to get through. But, at least now it is mostly contained.

Today's shave was a bit rough, but the irritation is subsiding. The Tabac lather was too wet. Overall, it was decent. Not my best effort, but far from my worst. I should have used some Lucky Tiger AS today. If I had, I probably would be a little less irritated.

Gear
Love, love, love Tabac. It is one of the best soaps for my face.

Dossier Perfumes makes good products. I am very happy with today's fragrance.

Other Thoughts
I love smelling good.

Shave Quality
Two really good shaves in a row at two passes each. The lather really delivered on the cushion and slickness. A careful angle kept the post-shave irritation to a minimum. I am happy with the results.

Gear
Tabac is my favorite soap. If I were to go minimalist and just have one, this would be the one. It smells great and my face really likes it.

Two days in a row of smelling gentlemanly in a classic way. Today, however, there is a slight modern twist. Eternity EdP is a 2019 release that is just a slight update to the EdT from 1990. It is a richer and deeper fougere. Awesome.

Other Thoughts
Things are good. I had fun on the Zoom call last night.

Superb shave today. It was an easy BBS with killer lather. Very happy with the results.

Gear
Tabac is my desert island soap.

Cremo makes great fragrances for an excellent price. Bourbon and Oak is another winner for me. It is a great fall scent.

Other Thoughts
I found out yesterday afternoon that we have a scheduled date for our countertops installation. ... ... ... That day is today. I wish they had given us more than half a day of notice, but whatever. They were supposed to show up at noon. They were here at 10:45. It is now almost 3:00 and they are putting the finishing touches on. I am happy with the results so far.

A killer shave and a killer frag for my Anniversary

Shave Quality
Today's shave was one of the best I have had in a long time. I think I definitely need to start shaving every other day. The lather today was the standard Tabac lather, so it was off the charts good. The razor made short work of two days of growth, leaving no irritation. BBS FTW!

Gear
So far no soap has been able to beat Tabac in performance for me.

Ormonde Man is the best fragrance that I have ever smelled. It is flat out amazing. Gentlemanly and refined, it is a modern classic. I think that this is one @BarberDave would love.

Other Thoughts
The countertops went in quickly. The wife and I were able to get the mirrors back in place with ease. The installation of the faucets was a royal PITA. But, now everything is in and working. We had to call a plumber to reinstall the garbage disposal in the kitchen, but I was happy to have a professional do it. The new counters are very pretty.
