Overview
A smooth Adjustable Friday shave

Shave Quality
Full-on, smooth and comfortable BBS today. There was some feedback from the alum, but that minor irritation subsided rather quickly. Feeling good on a Friday.

Gear
This Futur clone is a great shaver. You really have to mind the gap, since it is huge, but it will give great results. The 7O'Clock Black was a great combination with the razor. The blade is a keeper on its own, but really did good things in the 2000s.

The Dreamer is a nice fragrance. The new formulation is light and has a kind of baby powder like vibe on my skin and clothes. It smells clean. The tobacco flower is ever so slightly reminiscent of Tabac. It is not the best fragrance that I have, but it is definitely one that I would like to wear again. I might even try layering it with Tabac to see what happens.

Other Thoughts
Taking next week off. It is going to be a nice staycation.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

Sounds like some much needed timeoff coming up soon. With the threat of the company not allowing carryover this year. I am using mine!

Our PTO is now "use it or lose it" so I am using it. ... Well, I actually always use it. I just don't have anything to save it for anymore.

I am only BBS-, but my face feels awesome. I have zero skin irritation today post-shave. Just super results today with the RazoRock Acqua old formula and the Tech frankenrazor.

Gear
I am becoming a bigger fan of the Tech head with every use. It makes a great frankenrazor. The one pictured above gave me superior results today.

The Crown Platinum is a new blade to me. It is smooth as silk on my face on the first shave. It is one that @Cvargo has yet to review for his Bad Blades thread. I think it is one he should try based on today's results.

Nautica Voyage is great juice. It opens up smelling like cucumber, but turns aquatic as it dries down. It is a fantastic cheapie that should be in everyone's fragrance collection.

Other Thoughts
Happy 50th to my parents. We were supposed to be getting onto a cruise ship today for Alaska. Hopefully we can do it next year.

My wife and I were supposed to do an Alaskan cruise for our 10th anniversary last year, but her nursing school nixed that. Someday.

It could have been better...

Shave Quality
The shave could have been better. The Hawk head on the stainless handle felt rough on my face. It didn't leave too much lasting irritation, but right after the shave my face was a bit tender. I am BBS- for the day. It wasn't bad, but it definitely could have been better.

Gear
The more I use it the less a fan I become of the RazoRock Hawk. I just need to bite the bullet and get a Vector. Between that and my General I should be set for Feather AC SE razors.

The Al Rehab Silver could have gone over better. It doesn't last long, even on my shirt. I don't mind reapplying, but the wife doesn't like it. Oh, well.

Other Thoughts
It is kind of a blah day.

Bummers! Yea, the Hawk doesn’t hold a candle to the Vector in my book, but then, I couldn’t even get BBS with the Hawk so...

Overview
Kind of a train wreck shave

Mind the blade gap. Sometimes it will get you, like it got me today. I caught a fold of skin in the gap and got a bit of a bleeder. I also roughed up my Adam's Apple a bit. It was still BBS, but a problematic one.

Gear
The blade certainly is sharp. It feels very smooth most of the time. I think it is a keeper.

The Mission has a rather sizable gap. It shaves well, but it obviously needs a bit of care when using.

The Boss Bottled is a great scent. It also lasts decently long on my skin. It may not be what it once was since being reformulated, but it works well for me. I need to pick up the flankers.

Other Thoughts
It was a very nice Monday off.
