Shave Quality
Another good one today. Two passes for BBS with low irritation. In fact, it was application of fragrance that irritated my neck the most.

Gear
The Blue Tip SS is a nice mild shaver. It is not one that I put into rotation often. I should use it more. The results from today's shave were great.

The RazoRock Acqua continues to deliver excellent lather. It is the older RazoRock formula and working well for me.

The Cremo Silver Water & Birch smells great. Just a fabulous scent. It is light and doesn't last long on my skin, but I can definitely see wearing it in hotter weather.

Other Thoughts
YouTube is a very entertaining place.

Happy Father's Day shave

Shave Quality
The shave was mild and excellent and BBS-. There was very minimal feedback from the alum block today and next to no residual irritation. It was a fabulous shave.

Gear
The Ming Shi 3000s is a mild shaver. It is not as efficient as some, but it is definitely serviceable. This is my second one. I hope that this one lasts longer than the first.

I think the RazoRock Acqua might be worth replacing once it is gone.

The Azzaro Shine is a new-ish release and is quite enjoyable. It is a lighter summer scent that has a mid note of sand. It is not the longest lasting scent but it is very enjoyable. It is also one that is good for reapplying.

Other Thoughts
Four day weekends are very nice.

Shave Quality
My day off started with a really nice shave. I am not quite BBS on my neck, but decently smooth. Everything was good with the shave.

Gear
The Azzaro Sea is a good smelling light summer scent. There is a note in the fragrance that reminds me a tiny bit of Polo Green, but only slightly. Sea is a nice aquatic scent.

Other Thoughts
Got some fragrance samples in the mail. I may have to get a few more.

Shave Quality
Really good shave today. Above my jawline I am BBS, however below I am more like DFS+. There is a bit of roughness and some minor irritation. So, it could have been better, but I can't complain. I have had worse.

Gear
Azzaro Fun. It is a light, summer scent that is mostly grapefruit, but there is a bit of other citrus behind that. It is kinda refreshing.

Other Thoughts
Some reorganization is happening at work this week. Nothing to worry about. In fact, it should end up simplifying my life. I will have one manager, rather than two.

Shave Quality
BBS- today all over. It was a really good shave. I haven't used a 7O'Clock Black blade for a while. I forgot how great they are. I have a happy face today.

Gear
The Lady Gillette is a great shaver. It is like a Super Speed just with a longer handle. Good stuff.

The 7O'Clock Black is a top notch blade. It gave me a smooth and mild shave today.

Joop! Homme is loud, but I am really digging the scent. The floral/spicy fragrance is great, if just a little too beastly for everyday use.

Other Thoughts
Refund came through. I am disappointed at having to go that route. I wanted those stones.

That is a bummer about the stones. I have an SB and wanted to pick up their soft and hard stones in a 8x3 config.

I am sure that they are just having problems relating to the pandemic, but I was told two different times that they are working and that my stones would be in the mail within the next week. Both times it didn't happen. I hope they recover and get back to normal.

A Very Gillette Shave

Shave Quality
I now have a few Single Rings and they are very close shavers. Get the angle right and they are quite smooth. Get it wrong and they can rough you up a bit. I did okay with it today. The shave is BBS-ish, but I do have a bit of residual ouchyness. I think it will go away before too long. Overall I am satisfied with today's results.

Gear
Everyone should give vintage Gillette razors a try. There is some great hardware to be had for reasonable prices.

The Yacht Man Red is okay. It has a light and pleasant scent that is supposedly a clone of Dunhill Desire. The scent doesn't have much staying power, however.

Other Thoughts
Next week is the Fourth of July already????? Even with the quarantine this year is going fast.

Feel your pain with the hones Doug. I ordered a Zulu Grey when he had a 1/2 price sale back in Nov ‘19. No word for a few months. Not sure what’s going on. There is a lot of bad reports coming out of SA so am going to let it ride for a while. Hoping it works out.
