I acquired it back in 2016.
AoS Sandalwood soap (tallow version of course) is a soap that really does stand the test of time. Love the stuff!
But hold the horses. Do we have a professional poker player here? Or is this another card game you are speaking of. I love to play poker, but priorities have gotten the best of me and just can't afford to play it like it should be played. I have won a few really small poker tournaments at some of our local casinos. But that is really it.

Shave Quality
The AOS tallow lather was wet and sloppy so it went flying everywhere during the shave. It was very much a straight shave sort of lather. It was slick but somewhat lacking in cushion. I used the Marco Method to load it and then put some extra water in the mug. It got me to BBS in style. I will try to get a little less water in it tomorrow.
Gear
Day two and the Gillette Heritage is still working well.
Other Thoughts
Sandalwood is one of my all-time favorite scents.

It is most definitely a classic. I have two pucks jammed into a ramekin, so this soap is going to last me a long, long time. I have a few scents for the Christmas season, but I might pick this back up as a 3017 in the new year.

So, the shaves have been good. The AOS is consistently reliable. The Feather SS left me with a bit of extra irritation on Sunday, but nothing too major. I need to spend more time with my straights and shavettes.

Had about as good of a lather as one can get from AOS tallow, but I used too much pressure so I had some lasting irritation. The BBS was probably worth it.
Gear
Chinese razors are cheap, but they seem to be well built. They will never be heirloom items, but they are functional.
Other Thoughts
The Mystery Box from @Spider arrives today. I can't wait to see what it contains.
