I somehow forgot to put the straight razor in the picture.
This is my first time using Southern Witchcrafts soap. My first impression is it it great stuff. I loaded heavy and slowly added water and was rewarded with a low density, creamy super slick lather. Each pass the slickness increased and it felt good on my face. I have no clue what this soap smells like but I put it in my not bad category. The reserve fern aftershave Is pretty nice and I’m liking the scent after it dried down. The RR Plissoft brush knocked my Fine Stout out of the den and it will hopefully find a new home.

Hello, Cadre. It seems life had decided to punch me in the face this past week and throw everything out of wack. It’s nothing I can’t get through, but the little things, like cadre bingo, reading threads and everyone’s videos here have been a much needed distraction.
The shave shave been going quite well. Mostly been using what’s left of my Zingari Man Wanderer to make room for the Soloist along with a RR synthetic, Dixie 4/8 and my trusty Lupo. I’m 35 straight shaves in and am looking to get a better strop set up. I’m thinking about getting an Heirloom Plain Vanilla and putting CrOx on ones side of the cotton.
The scales on the Dixie Cracked last night so a re-scale is in order along with getting the edge touched up. It’ll have to wait until the Dubl Duck Dwarf I purchased gets here so I can see what it’ll need to be shave ready. I have another auction about to end that I threw the minimum bid at, we’ll see how that turns out after dinner tonight.

Early morning shave at work today. It’s pretty crazy how different the water on this base is compared to the one I live on. Lisa’s, Stirling and Zingari Man lather and feel completely different with the same brush and load. At home I have to load at least 30 seconds, but I can get the same lather with a 10-15 second load here. Any who, it was a great shave and I’m still catching whiffs of the scent 3 1/2 hours later
I’ve been looking at injectors for my work shave setup due to all the love they get around these parts. Them being described as “like cheating” is very appealing. I’ve narrowed it down to either a hydro-magic or L type. Is there any difference in the face feel if there two?

I have a Hydro and still put his in my watch because it is in amazing shape and a GREAT price. GO GET IT and save my marriage PLEASE
