Great review/thoughts Josh! What made you pick the toner vs the alcohol based AS?

LOL...yeah, it's a quandry for sure. I know when I get back stateside, closer shaves will be more of a priority for SWMBO and the kiddos.

Thanks Chris...mainly that I'll be able to ship it via mail when I transition back home. Can't do that with alcohol based aftershaves. I'll have to bring them with me.
 
Okay I have to admit I was cheating on you Josh and listening to the video while reading the forum in another window. Until I heard multi pass and went back to see the other straight strokes you do as I'm trying to learn technique before attempting again. Thanks for the video especially the taunting close ups of my brush !! Have a good Sunday man !!

HAHAHAHAHA...I didn't forget yesterday, but pretty sure in hindsight that I did today.

Great shave! Fine Santal and AB are high on my AD list for sure! Definitely one of those soap where scent plays a key role.

Cool Josh. Just finished 1st job of the day and grabbing some breakfast. Something to watch while eating in the truck. Have a great day. Hit our numbers last night and Chad planning I think on a Sunday shave off.

My experience with SC is that it is a very serviceable shave soap with some really awesome scents. But I just never get an AWESOME shave with it. Your shave seemed nice...but I'm looking for something better than nice!
