Looks delicious! Anything wrapped in bacon!
I fall for it every time too. My mom made something with chicken liver (puke) & pickled watermelon rind that was wrapped in bacon and baked to a crispy gooey delight. One bite and the liver ruined the whole thing, now I make it without the liver and all is good. Wrapping liver and other nasty stuff in bacon is like ...well, it’s wrong.

This made me think of all the times I've wrapped medicine in cheese for the dogs. I feel soooo guilty!
Hey its their fault, if they actually savored the cheese they would notice the pill. That or they noticed the first one and have been quietly cheeking the pills, stashing them aside and selling them to the pusher on the corner while you are out on your run. Have you notice any new coller's or flashy gold teeth?

New Numbers from today...

My own little analysis of the situation. I was tracking before April 1st, but decided to omit those numbers for now as everything is sort of running.

The percentage of cases people tested positive seems to have peaked on April 10th. At almost 21%. But as we are testing more and more people...it seems that number keps going down. As it should unless we experience another spike. Right now we are at about 14% of the people getting tested are testing positive.

As more and more people die from COVID 19 related issues the death rate will only increase. right now it looks like the mortality rate of those who test positive in Louisiana is just over 7%. I am not sure what the national average is or the global average either.

At one point we had about 18% of those testing positive ending up in the hospital. Today it's 14%.

And about 33% of those in the hospitals were on ventilators. Today, that percentage is at 4.12%.

But...more importantly...it seems that currently ore than 70% of those who tested positive have recovered from the Virus.

Anyway...just some thoughts.

I live in one of the 3 more rural regions in NY that are taking the fist step towards opening. I don't know that much will change with these initial steps, but it's nice to read that we're headed in the right direction. On the other hand, we might also be canaries in NY's coal mine.

This is my battle right now lol, as one of the pooches has a bevy of pills each day to help her with allergies. Constantly praying they just swallow the treat instead of chewing :ROFLMAO:

Governor just spoke, Stay at home expires Friday and We are Open with "Social Distancing" which no one here in AZ follows. Restaurants, Gyms, Pools and more to come. Even though the Numbers he is quoting as going down by his fuzzy math are actually trending up. Give a Whole to Meaning to
"Let God Sort it out" Going to be an interesting few weeks
