Razor: Razorock SLOC
Blade: Gillette Nacet (4)
Soap/cream: Mystic Water Sweet Briar Tobacco
Brush: Stirling Kong
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Avon Spicy
Today the stars aligned it was just perfect. I was in the zone. No trouble from the MW, an excellent lather, the razor and blade performed, and I got an superb BBS no irritation. Dare I say throw the dolphin in here?
Then I finished it up with the Avon Spicy. So far so good 90 min post shave still smells strong. This scent is it! This is the one! This reminds me so much of the Old Spice grandpa wore. Wow I love it! I am going to have to keep an eye out for some Spicy when at the local flea markets and antique stores.

Homefront:
Well we got everything ironed out with the insurance. Sadie has a pre-surgery appointment on June 1st. Then assuming all goes well there, she will have surgery on June 11th. This is a common procedure and they are under for a for short amount of time. So trying to not get overly worried about all of this. But I am nervous about my baby girl being on anesthesia. When Connor had a really bad infection two Christmases ago they knocked him out to do the MRI and seeing my boy limp was the scariest thing ever. Not looking forward to that again.
Anyways that is not what this weekend is about. This weekend is family time, doing what my wife and I have been dreaming of doing before we even had kids. Being able to get out of the tent and off the ground and camp as a family. I am really excited about this. I get off work early today at 2pm. Then head home to throw the cooler in the van, hitch up, and head south 90 minutes up into the mountains. We are staying at not a state park which are the campgrounds I prefer. Instead since this our first trip with the rig we picked someplace close that we could ensure everything works. In other words discover the small things that are going to be need to be fixed before the next trip. This campground does have electrical hookups and water hookups. So we definitely aren't roughing it, but still excited to get out! I don't know if I will be on as not sure if cell phone reception is there. If it is I am sure I will check in during the evening hours after the kids are asleep. I didn't pack any shave gear. So don't expect any shaves over the weekend.
I did attend the 4th degree Assembly meeting yesterday evening, just a quick meeting and signed up for a golf tournament so that should be fun to golf with some of the guys in a couple weeks.
Have a great friday and weekend Cadre.
