Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Alright well back to the grind and pulled out a new soap after skipping a shave yesterday. My next 3017 is going to be the Ballenclaugh Honey Tobacco. I'm looking forward to this one as I love the scent.

As to the home front we are beginning to prepare for Vegas and Megan and I have been discussing what to bring. I have a feeling we are bringing a LOT! Hoping to not return with as much.

Also it's holy week and I have been at church every day this week and plan to still be going to daily. Daily mass has been a gift to me spiritually and making my work day accommodate that 30 min has been very good for my morale.

Forgot to mention on Saturday I worked my first ever NCAA division 1 football game. Granted it was the spring game but it was still a lot of fun. I made a couple of mistakes but also did a lot of things right. Was a great day. I guess I did well enough that one of the college assigners has asked for my schedule going forward and said more opportunities will come. Well he called yesterday and asked me to work a semi pro game on Saturday to see more of my mechanics live.

Down below are some pics as well as a pic of Megan and I on our date I forgot to upload.

Sa-weet!

Well well well here I am.... still shaving daily yes but ya guessed it 3017 all the way. So to catch up a bit. Still using the Ballenclaugh and it's a great soap that is doing wonderfully. It's a slow to die though. After the Vegas trip a Gillette Fatboy arrived via Woodpusher from Ed's estate. I am happy to have something to remember him by and have always wanted to add a Fatboy to my collection. This is a nice razor and I have been thoroughly enjoying it since it arrived.

On the home front since my last post we had the Vegas trip which was a blast! I had such a great time getting to meet so many people and enjoy the company of many in sin city thankfully.

After that my son did his First Communion which as a father was great to see him complete this milestone.

This weekend Megan and I are attending the Utah Knights of Columbus State Convention where my council is hoping to win a few awards.

The football schedule has slowed down for a bit as spring games are over.

We have also been booking some camping trips distances are shortened but still getting up into the mountains still gas prices be damned.

Any who I still read the journals and enjoy keeping up to date.

Have a good day Cadre.

FatBoys are the real deal. If I had known you didn't have one....I'da fixed that problem for you.

I've had a few opportunities over the years to get one, but the price or condition never aligned. So when Sam was helping Ed's wife sell his stuff I figured it was going to a good cause, plus now this one will always mean something to me. So alas the wait was worth it.

Well home from the Knights state convention and what a trip. We won the Faith in action award and the Community award. Here's a few action shots
