Well today was a good shave, as I am now done with the Fine Soaps on this tour. I ended with a good one that's for sure. Got a very nice shave and am happy to go about the day.

Homefront:

Well I fell behind on the forum yesterday and am getting ready to leave for mass soon, so I will try and catch up later tonight. We had a great time with my parent's for my Dad's birthday party. Before going I went to mow my front lawn and the mower that I have had problems with since buying it finally gave out completely so I went and bought a new one and a new trimmer. Went all electric this time, I can only clean and replace so many carburetors before I just give up lol. So today after the Jazz game I am going to try again and get the lawns mowed.

Have a blessed day cadre and I will try and catch up later.

Wonderful way to end the run of Fine soaps! Hopefully the new 'lectric mowers don't cause as much issues as your previous ones did.

Well another great shave this morning as I get ready to tackle the day. On deck was my Proraso and I am now noting a drop in the tub. I'll need to weigh it again when it is dry and see where I'm at.

I chose the injector mainly because I have a busy morning planned.

Oops!

Homefront

Well was out at our Knights Bingo day yesterday helping out. Then headed home to watch the late Jazz game. They won and closed out the series. Now it's the Rockets... Ugh I consider myself a realistic Jazz fan... I think the Jazz can win one fingers crossed two games. But I don't see them winning a best of 7 I hope I'm proven wrong.

This morning I'm taking the MY van in for oil change, tire rotation, and other scheduled maintenance. I want everything in tip top shape after all we are planning on towing the tent PUP trailer for a camping trip in a couple weeks. So I want everything in working order. After that we have my Dad's birthday party not to make anyone feel old as a lot of you could probably be my dad lol but he's turning 55. I'm going to have to start asking for his senior discount now when we go to dinner lol!

Hope you all have a great day.

Nice read Chad the BTW FTFY

That is a Fine way to end it. I have been considering going electric, but I am just not completely sold on them yet.

I've got to do some yard work today too.

Thanks Craig. Thankfully I got all mine done.

Thanks Josh. So far the battery operated mower did a wonderful job.

Well I did the front lawn and back and only used 2/3 of the battery. I purchased the Lowe's Kobalt 80V. It did a wonderful job. My lot is just a tiny bit over 1/3 of an acre. So far after one weekend of using it I am happy. It is just a little louder than a vacuum lol.

Well another great shave with the Proraso this morning and I think I am sticking with this brush for this soap. It is just eating it up! The Parker is just performing wonderfully and I think after my mail call today I might put a couple DEs in the BST I think it is time to thin the herd a little bit here, as I am settling into the perfect rotation.

SOTD Pic:
Nope... Probably won't see on days I use Proraso because it is pretty much standard.

Homefront:

Got the lawns fully mowed between Saturday and Sunday. New mower is doing wonderfully! We decided to start a fire yesterday and roasted hot dogs for dinner. Connor that was pretty neat. Then the wind kicked up and wasn't able to do the smores with the wind. The storm has rolled in and we should have rain for the next 2-3 days. Makes it nice because now I can continue to delay turning on the sprinklers but I feel that will be happening soon.

I played catch up this morning in the journals as I wasn't online much over the weekend. Have a great Monday Cadre.

Great reads Chad. You could have roasted Peep smores, just add chocolate and gram cracker and Bingo! The gas really plays havoc on small engine carburetors now a days. I place a Lucas product for Ethanol and Sta-bill in all of my gas, and I still sometimes have a problem. I try to run whatever I am using dry at the end of the season, then add alcohol free gas to let it sit over the season.

Caught up, that Timeless sure is a pretty razor.

I saw on your weekend list was replacing the lights in the garage. I finally switched one of our florescent fixtures to a long LED one. What a difference! Instant on and super bright. AND no bulbs to replace. I highly recommend it.

Great shave and read Chad!

I've still got some more yard work to get done, plus the bermuda is turning green and it will have to be mowed soon.

Thanks Walt. I was using Sta-bil and ethanol free gas. I always run dry when the season is up. Just a pain in the butt for sure!

Thanks Dave. And yes I switched to all LED in the garage. They should outlast me so I guess I can get rid of the ladder now LOL.

Thanks Craig. Sadly yard work is never truly over

I did a little research and I think that if I go with an electric, I will either have to buy a corded one or buy the 80v and a couple spare batteries. I am at the very top of what they say those things are capable of.

Hey, I've got a pretty new corded one I'm getting rid of. You just need to drive out and pick it up!

Great shave and read. I am happy that the new mower is working out for you.

Thanks Doug.

Sounds like you are definitely on a bigger lot than myself. I have told my wife that if our lot was any bigger I would get a riding mower.
