Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Razor: Merkur 37c
Blade: Wizamet (2)
Soap/cream: LNHC TSC Barbershoppe
Brush: AP Shave Co Gold Brush
Aftershave1: LNHC TSC Balm

Well the weekend came and went and well I missed a few things unfortunately. I totally forgot about the bad blade review video, just woke up Friday and went about my shave as normal. So sorry for that. We shall see what happens this week. I did change up a few things grabbed a different brush and started using a different razor. I am re-visiting the Merkur Slant and I must say I am very happy with the results the last few days using that razor. I am getting BBS shaves and loving every minute of it.

Well had the games friday I worked a double header. Then when driving home which was 40 miles I had the text from my wife. Call me! Apparently my daughter asked her brother to cut her hair. Yup CUT HER HAIR! And then my son cut his own too in a spot. Well after I took that all in, my phone rang from @BarberDave to talk Cadre. Pics below of the hair. I am still upset but it'll grow back.

Also over the weekend attended the Knights of Columbus mid year meeting virtually. That was a lot of fun and looking forward to ways to continue adapting in the crazy world of ours.

Yesterday we had game night which the kids where really looking forward to. We played Mouse Trap, Chutes and Ladders, Candy Land, and Uno Attack. A great evening indeed.

Have a great day cadre.

WOW! well that didn't look too bad, it looks like the "haircut" could certainly have been worse, he could have used trimmers and went really short, looks like it was all scissor work. Did you let him know that it was OK and that he just needs more practice? :devilish:

Just saying...need to encourage the youth and foster those talents, whatever they may be. Who knows, he may grow up to be a famous Barber someday. :p

Sorry folks yup things have been crazy. My grandma on my mom's side is 89 and sadly is slowing down. She took a nasty fall when getting the mail the other day. Then later that day she fell in the bathroom and spent two hours crawling to her phone to call for help. She lives with my aunt and sadly she was at the neighbors assisting with another issue. Needless to say we took the day off today to go visit her, and the last few days have been partaking in family discussions about what's best. I should be back to journaling tomorrow. Now to go find those bingo calls from @The Monkey

You may want to burn some incense or get that little old lady from Poltergeist to stop over the house. Gotta get rid of the bad ju ju going on there Chad.
Yikes.

Razor: Parker Variant set to 2.5
Blade: Wizamet (9)
Soap/cream: LNHC TSC Barbershoppe
Brush: GrayDog Brush
Aftershave1: LNHC TSC Balm

Well here we are another shave to enter finally. For last while I have been using this Parker Variant and really enjoying the shaves. The head is a little bulky which makes it hard to get the lip areas at times but seeing as I am letting the goatee grow in (insert @woodpusher joke here) It's no big deal. The shaves have been wonderful and the soap is just about to be considered done. Maybe 1-2 more shaves.

Well grandma seems to be healing up well. and Sadie is also, although she has a nasty scab on her scalp and we are sure it will scar, but that is to be hidden by hair. Been doing a lot of reading as of late, and putting a lot of free time into that. I have a stack of books a mile high, and am one solid day behind on the bingo calls so I need to get caught up on that. Between all that, work, officiating, and dad duties I don't have a lot of free time. The basketball season is winding down, and I am ready to make the full switch to football. I am looking to get signed up for some camps to attend as well. Speaking of camps HEY you @uacowboy and @BarberDave we need to have a discussion about the Grand Canyon, and probably do some booking and make a decision.

Anyways hope everyone here is having a good day.
